Hotel Riviera del Sol

Returning to Playa this May with my 14 year old daughter. (Her first visit!) If anyone has stayed at this hotel please share with me the good the bad and (hopefull not) the ugly.  Gracias.

    I haven't seen any trip reports here on it, but I looked at LG's info, then Googled it & got the resort's website--looks very nice. Doesn't look like there'd be any "ugly."
    Just read some TA reviews--seems like a good choice.

    We have been working with this hotel for years, it is very popular. No complaints that I can recall.

    We stayed here a few years ago. Basic hotel room, very clean & quiet. Pretty pool area. Location is in the north end, just up the street from Mamitas & Kool Beach Clubs.

    Have stayed at this hotel our last two trips to Mexico. We really loved it. It is at the quiet end of Playa, has a really nice pool, included continental breakfast (you could even get eggs for an extra 80 cents!) and free day passes to Mamitas Beach Club. I highly recommend it.

    I've stayed at the Riviera del Sol several times. I'd book it again in a heartbeat. Great location, real nice people. Generally speaking, look for a second- or third-floor room -- I like the balconies better than the first-floor patios.
