As you said 1rj, there seems to be a lot of sadness and difficult times experienced by many over the last few months. [&o]

Sending big hugs to Sherry as well ~ wishing her a quick recovery! [:)]

So very sad to read on FB that "The Hawk" has left this world.
Sending comforting karma and hugs to Needa and family.

I have such fond memories of The Hawk and Needa,
here on the LG forums. Their trip reports were so fun to read.

Found one of the great ones...written by Needabeach wife of The Hawk.

Afternoon Clurks.

Chris..some day I will tell you the story about how I refused to give up my recliner when we refurnished the TV room.
[sm=mexi_hat.gif]

No..it isnt as ratty as archie bunkers.

Badger..I like Mucinex DM 12 hr for getting ride of the grud. Haven't had a cold in a while knock on wood.

F n A...Hawk is dead. I hated even writing that. He made us laugh and he was very passionate in what he believed in and consequently, he made some enemies. Long Live Hawk.

Sherry...Get Well Soon.

A world of my own
I'll make it my home sweet home...

Mornin' Clubbers, it's Twosday.

So sorry to hear about The Hawk, we met him and his "gang" in Akumal years ago, what a hoot, loved his sense of humor.

Bosco, thanks for the tip, but I don't do drugs of any kind, unless you count medicinal tequila.[:D][;)]

We're putting up 17' sheets of steel roofing today, so of course the wind is going to be howling.[8D]

Sherry, hope you recover soon!

Twirls, glad to hear that you didn't cancel.[:)]

Good Morning Campers and Lurkers

Yesterday I was working the front desk at the office. A client came in to change her name due to a recent marriage. She had a nice tan and I asked her where she had been. She said Punta Cana. I asked, "How was that?". She said, "Too hot, I am glad we are back here and it is still cold." As the Germans would say: Unglaublich

Thanks for the link to a fun read PJ.

Prayers for Sherry

Enjoy 2zzday

We were lucky to meet Needabeach once. What a classy lady with a great sense of humor. She will handle things with grace. My condolences to the whole family.

Good Morning

Off to the dentist soon to start work on my broken crown. I've been getting cramps in my tongue with it always going over to check it out.[:D]

Bosco and Badger, re the chair: MINE. I have embarrassingly short legs. (Really. If my legs were proportionate to my torso, I would be at least 5'9" or taller.) If I sit on the couches that CHRIS picked out, it's like Lily Tomlin's Edith Ann character in the rocking chair. Legs straight out. Either that or my back a foot away from the couch back. Not comfortable. I have nothing against recliners except for the way most of them look...ugly. This chair does not look at all like a recliner. MINE.

Prayers for Sherry. I know that Tom is taking good care of her. Also condolences to the Hawk's family.

Good Morning!

Winter is making one last- I hope- appearance. Waiting for the white stuff to start falling. Our first Dressage Clinic of the year is in full swing. Has been quite well attended considering the weather and the lack of work the horses have had all winter.

A cardinal just flew unto the sliding glass door. That got the dogs' attention!

Badger Don't go flying off that roof!

Sherry Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Our condolences to Needa and family. The trip reports by Needa and the Hawk were the most entertaining ever.

Morning all
Sherry called this AM. Seems there was also an issue of Global trans____ amnesia? Not sure exactly what all the issues are but she is being released to go home to her neurologist for more tests. She was at her daughter's when this happened.

Also sorry to hear about Hawk. I heard he had not been well for some time. Great times during boring winters of reading the stories of The Agave Gang. He will be missed by many.

Hola gang!

So sorry to hear about Hawk. he always kept me laughing when I read his posts.

Travelon.. Wishing for a speedy recovery.[sm=love.png]

It snowed yesterday, but starting to warm up again. should hit mid 70's this weekend. Cindy, that lady shouldn't go to the beach. she's not beach material. Did she stay in her air conditioned room the whole time?

Cindy I understand about short legs. but I'm thinking I'm way shorter than you are at my full height of 5 feet.[:D]

SOSO are you in paradise yet?

BB are you going to paradise this year?

Twirls. I'm sure you will have an enjoyable time in paradise.

2 days until Scandal!!!! anyone else hooked on that show?

Have a a fabulous week!

JJ-I don't know about WAY shorter...I'm 5'4"...used to be 5'5" (that age thing, dammit) But I'm very long waisted, so it makes for interesting/frustrating shopping. Can never find shirts long enough, or pants short enough. Could shop talls for tops and petites for slacks. My BFF from hi school and her husband joined us in Akumal one year, and we're the same heighth. She scoffed at me when I complained about my short legs. The next day we went birding in a small car and sat next to each other. I was 4" taller than her, and her knees went out 4" further than mine. No further scoffing.

Beautiful day today - sunny, just below freezing and only a little breeze. Nice early spring day.
Tomorrow will be quite different with a blizzard warning - winds of 100 km/hr and 40 to 50 cm of snow (translation: about 60 mph and 16 to 18" of snow.) We always get snow in March but this is nuts! I'm glad we aren't trying to get to Cuba tomorrow.
So if I'm MIA tomorrow, the storm may have taken out the power lines. Otherwise we have food, water, the woodstove and wood and plan to stay home. [:)]

Good Morning short legs, its Humpday.[:)]

Cindy, do your legs reach all of the way to the ground? If so, they are long enough.[:D]

We quit work a little early yesterday once the wind started blowing too hard, supposed to be better today.
Hunker down Nipper, that storm sounds nasty. ZeroF here right now, high today 33, but rain/sleet and then up to 7 inches of snow tomorrow.[&:]

'Morning, Clurkers

10F now but going to 36, light snow tonight. Peeked ahead to the weekend, we might hit 60 on Sunday! There is hope for an end to winter.

Nipper, that sounds awful. I'd like to visit N.S. one of these days...note to self: NOT March!

Yes Badger, they are long enough. But haven't you ever wished for an upgrade? Like coach vs first class?

Making a morning trip to Wally World for spring cleaning supplies. Need new shelf liner to start the kitchen cabinet cleaning...gonna be a long day.
Make it a good one
