I looked at this resort - how does that work, when some people are A/I and some aren't? Seems odd.....

I must have looked at it wrong, I thought I saw a non- A/I choice. Prices in March are sky-high. And, without a car, you're stranded in a very small resort. I need something larger if there isn't anything within walking distance (restaurants, shops, etc.)

Prices are quoted per room or per person

Looks like they have a facebook page.  It's not in Spanish though.  It's Italian owned so I assume most of the staff and guests will be speaking Italian.  Pasta options are probably good :)

Hi SG. Good to see ya. I'm not on facebook but got a nice tour of the property in May.
Seemed to be a nice smaller all-inclusive. I think maybe 120 rooms ( ? ).
You be back next April/May ?

Hope to see you,
Bernie

Can't speak for the resort at all but we have tried the snorkeling out front of the resort and were not impressed.

Hey Uncle Bernie!  I look forward to your impressions of this resort after your stay.  Not sure if I will be back next spring, but it was great to meet you in April!

Hey Girl, great to meet you as well.  Although, I had to meet you two nights in a row to remember who I met the first night. Dang, those margs snuck up on me ! hee, hee.

Yes, will be happy to let you know how the 'new' place goes. Better yet, come on down & join me with the rest of the gang.  I always have fun no matter where I go and as you know, LG peeps are the best to hang with.

See ya, kiddo.

It had some of the best snorkeling in the Tankah Bay at one point.  People talk about the fish balls  in Akumal, but look at the pictures below for what was just offshore there.  Don't know if it is still a good area or not, but swim off from the left side of this property and you may be able to see this:

Plus you'll love the big tubs and door ways from it's original design ( as a biggest  loser type retreat )
