WE had a very late night and laughed until we cried.  So far Pearl has eaten the yappers.

Evening all

Today was a rest up day that included, unfortunately, a couple of hours of too much , too fast.  I had to deal with the new bed issues, the installer for 2 New blinds (the blind guy,LOL) showed up while I was on the phone dealing with the bed situation and then City Utilities showed up with a DISCONNET NOTICE intending to shut off my utilities!  I had set up AUTO PAY last month!  And all at once while I'm on the phone!  It all got handled and my bed is complete and the adjustable thing works.

Everyone had a fun day and some early pool time.  Bob and Tom are 2 peas in a pod and could be a community threat if turned loose.  Dinner was assorted stuffed burgers and bacon wrapped asparagus.  Pie and ice cream later.
Tomorrow an outing to Big Cedar Lodge and Top of the Rock golf faculty is planned.  Lunch at one place and beverages at the other.  Top of the Rock has a cave to drive through in golf carts while having a cocktail.  Both are on Tablerock Lake.  Probably do a drive through Branson on the way back.
One night we are feasting on 10 lbs of fresh frozen colossal red king crab legs that I ordered direct from a facility on the coast in Alaska.  They are almost 30 inches long and as big as my fist! Hotel Holly is first class.

Claire, sincere condolences from Babs and I, hugs.

Good Morning Clubbers, rain falling this morning, so we left the job for a day and headed back home. Job is going well, we are redoing a large roof and replacing the old wooden fascia and trim with a composite material, camping out at the site. Funny story, beside the old railroad depot there are baseball fields, tennis courts, playground, etc. Night before last there was a Little League game there, which we watched from a distance, later that night a cop showed up and woke one of my workers because someone had reported that there were gang of "bikers" camped out there. Kinda funny, because we had all cleaned up after work, but two of us were wearing tank tops, guess we looked pretty tough. Now we have to think up a name for our biker gang.

I've got lots to do this morning, will try to check back and catch up with everyone later.

Wag more....bark less.

Howdy and good morning all.

Partly cloudy this AM with a beach high of 88 degrees today. Chance of some t-storms this afternoon and evening. The current temp is 77F at 6:57

Yesterday I did the grocery shopping and spent some time looking for flights to Denver over thanksgiving. I'm overdue for a trip to see my children & grand kids. Went out for dinner and cocktails to Roberto's. I was surprised to see that Andrea was the bartender. Apparently the last one quit and she is filling in until a replacement is found. We got to chat a bit and catch up on things. Her two black cats are doing fine; her parents not very well.

Today is trash day. Need to review the two companies that quoted termite/pest control and make a decision on that service. Otherwise, not much else planned.

Yikes Holly ! I would assume that you got notice from the utility company ? You know, in the mail !!
Glad things got worked out so the entertainment and fun can continue.

Well hello SoSo !  Whatca been doing ?

Hi Badger. Funny story about the job-site. Biker gang, huh ?  How about Willy Wonka Workers ? he,hee

Off to set out the trash & recycle cans out.
See y'all later,
Bernie

Holy humidity!  Glad you got a day off Badger, but sorry if it prolongs the camp out.  Try to keep your gang under control

Sounds like you are having some fun Twirley.  Excellent.

Denver in November?  I wonder how the weather will be although I am sure all worth it to see the kids Bernie.

Said a little prayer for you this am Claire.

Good Morning
Trying to finish the laundry before the invasion of grandkids. DIL has Dr. appt this am. She thought it was yesterday until they called with the reminder notice. Got me all screwed up on the calendar, kept looking at next week and thinking I'd missed an appt. Senior moment. Crunch, I don't know what your humidity level is, but ours right now is at 100%, according to NOAA. As soon as I have the last load of laundry folded, I will be heading out to water my pots, urns, beds, etc. Not counting on the 20% chance of rain tonight. Hot and sticky, but the ground is dry and hard. Should be able to get it all done before DIL arrives, don't expect her till 10:30 or so.

Hi, SoSo. Don't be a stranger.
I can see where you might look like a biker, Badger. You'd need a scrawny little ponytail and a bigger gut to really pull it off, though. And tattoos. Can't forget tattoos. Are you gonna be home Friday?
Must run, laundry to fold. Keeping you in my prayers, Claire.
Cindy

Good morning.  77 and partly cloudy.  Headed for low 90's with high humidity.  Anderson just arrived and Maya is sequestered in upstairs bedroom for the day.

More prayers sent your way Claire.

Badger, funny story.  Maybe you can come up with a clever name for your biker gang at your next boat drinx.

Hola SoSo.  How's your physical therapy going?

Twirls, king crab legs sound yummy.  Have a fun outing.

Cindy, almost done with those eye drops; yippee and you are getting some relief in the interim with the arch supports.

Crunchie, almost Friday chica.

Bob, your kayak outing looked like a fun day.

Must find something to do....way too much noise for me.   Make it a great day.  MB

Morning all
I was the last person to go to bed and I'm apparently the first one up.  I haven't seen anyone but the gardner who came to water.

My new bed seems hard.  It may have to go back.  I don't think it's the same as the the one I tried in the store.

Good morning BCers.
Been outside enjoying the cool of the morning.  Watering porch pots and containers.
With all the pop up storms in the area. Not one drop of rain on the hill for awhile.
Once the sun gets above the trees.  Gonna get hot!  Mid nineties today.
May spend afternoon in the downstairs.  Cleaning and pitching.  That part of the house stays very cool.

Badger,  LOL on biker gang.

Twirls,  glad you are enjoying the house guest.

Cindy, Enjoy your time with the grandchildren.
My nephew and his wife had to take custody of their three grandchildren.  (long story)
They had a FB post asking for help from anyone who had backyard play items for climbing, etc. for the kids to play on.
Friends and family certainly came through for them.  She just put up a picture of their back yard this morning.

SC put up this a pic from her new job.  Apparently she needed a bigger desk.  This morning she got it.
I am so impressed at how neat and clean the work area is.  Not like her at all!  LOL

The mirror on right side of pic is there so people can't sneak up on her.   LOL

MB,  Hope the noise doesn't get real bad.  Be nice when project is all done.
Everything is back to rights.  Hugs

BeachBilly,  Hugs and prayers for you sweet lady.
