Morning all
Slept late.

Frank, I did get a topical cream (THC/CBD) in CO that did relieve pain in my fingers and hands for a few hours at a time.  Several people swear by the edibles.  I firmly believe that the concentrates (vapor) helps as much as any pain pills I've tried.

The cat is old and cranky.  I'm sure it's his way of protesting PEARL.  Pearl may have turned a corner of puppyhood.  She has been much better the last couple of days.

MB, sorry to hear of Tim passing but God needs him for some reason.

My niece housekeeper is back!  Just in time.  I've managed to make progress but I can't do it all anymore.

Good morning BCers!
Cloudy and a bit cooler here in Memphis.
Rain expected in afternoon.
Been a very relaxing week... not much to do here.  On my third book.
Watched a bunch of movies.  Slept in several times...there is no cat here to walk on head. LOL
SC is off today.  Plans to get out and about when she wakes up.  She worked 2nd shift yesterday
so might be awhile before she wakes.

MB,  Sorry to read of BIL's passing.  Prayers for you and family.  ((Hugs))

BB,  Hope your kitty is recovering well.  Sorry about the vacation plans.

Bernie, while we love the Fiesta Americana, we find that we miss the walking around that is available at the Iberostar. I suspect that since you love walking, you would appreciate that as well.

I have added some more pictures and info on the Fiesta Americana, just a few moments ago. You may find it interesting.

Your action ace news reporter also decided to do an article on the Explorean, a sister resort out behind the FA (away from the ocean, built into the jungle, sort of like the Iberostar, but not nearly up to par with the Iberostar, flora and fauna wise). It helps get our strolling requirements, but it is not quite the same. This report will be coming soon, keep an eye out in the AI forums.

You didn't ask, but this is called "Moses in the Cradle". It has a tiny boat shaped flower (the cradle) nestled far down in the plant, a sort of off-white color.

Okay, today we decide to walk about a kilometer up the road towards the Presidente and hop in the water at a nice loading spot. The current brings us south, back to our resort. Every where else on the west side the current is north.  First thing we see on the way out is this fire worm.

A nice coral head

trunk fish

A couple blue heads

a sponge vase

A trumpet fish

Scrawled file fish

Cow fis

More still, I said it was a great day snorkeling!
Lizard fish

Stoplight Parrot fish

Sharp tailed eel

French Angel fish, adult and juvenile

Spotted Moray eel

I also found 4 large lobsters under a ledge, but my batteries died just as I got there the first time, the second time, I just couldn't get a good shot. They were down 15 feet and I had a current to deal with... basically I sucked ! LOL!!!!! I will try again tomorrow. Looks like they have taken up home there!

Good Morning Possums, it's Friday.

Twirls, we need details!

MB, are you OK?

UHK, just a suggestion, but maybe you could post the snorkeling pix over on the AI forums with your other report? I think more people would enjoy them there.

Typical spring weather here, 90F on Wednesday, 50 yesterday and 70 today.

Boat Drinx tonight.

Good Morning
Nice story, Paul. I'll send a card, too.
Limber up those fingers and tell us a story, Twirls!

Surveyed my domain yesterday and decided that mowing would be the first order of business. Of course, after finishing the laundry, it was about all I got done. So many freaking dandelions, and I did not want them going to seed all at once making more baby dandelions and/or getting stuck to every screen on the house. Today I will be back on my knees weeding. Too much to do, so little time.

Have a great day
Cindy

Howdy and good morning everyone.

Cloudy this AM with more rain creeping up the coast. I always check the radar for creeping each morning, as well as the creaking in my back. hee, hee. Current temp is 74F at 7:44 with an expected high near 80 degrees.

Yesterday Debby reported that the screened porch job was completed. Saturday afternoon she will meet the guy that has quoted her the installation of the 6 ceiling fans so he can look at the job. He might just offer to install 2 or 3 of them while he is there, as he lives up here near me.

Today is the day that Debby packs up her clothes, puts her refrigerated items into a cooler and puts the two cats into their carriers. ie : the final move into her house.  I have offered to take the cats in my truck and help her load stuff into her house.

PJ, you 'stuck in a rut' out there in the woods with those rainy days ? Time for another Mexico vacation.

Twirls, you seem to loose a lot of your posts. Perhaps you should 'copy' them as you go along ? Maybe at the half way mark and then again before you hit the send button. Do you use your Kindle to write your posts for the BC ?  I know nothing about them but I do remember that you didn't have this many problems on posts before you got the Kindle. Hmmm.

Thanks Cindy for identifying the various flowers and plants down in Mexico. I just knew you would enjoy seeing them. I'll post some more shortly.

 Coffee done.
Will catch y'all later,
Bernie

Hmmmmm...... About the only forum that seems to have any life here is the BC, but then again, maybe some more life could get infused elsewhere here on LG. I'd like to see it. I don't see a marine life forum, how about I start a snorkel pic thread on the edge. I mean, snorkel pics aren't really something an AI has, eh?

We'll see what today has in store, we are 10 people today at the Money Bar, meeting new friends and sharing laughs.

Twirley, I know it's a bummer losing a post, but some of us truly enjoy your Twirley stories!!!! Please try again!

MB, hugs to you and yours.

Having a great time down here. Be well all.

Bob

Good morning 59 now with a high of 82.  Another top 10 weather day.  My smartphone was acting dumb so I headed to WalMart yesterday and talked to their tech team.  Somehow....my voicemail turned itself off.  A couple of people commented recently that they had left a VM message, which was not received.  There were 17 messages that I retrieved.  Problem resolved.

BeachBilly, bummer on cancelling MX trip.  Hope kitty is on the mend.

PJ, hope you had a fun day with SC.

Cindy, hear ya on the dandelions.  Mine are looking poorly now since the lawn service nuked them on Wednesday.

Bernie, thanks for the beautiful pics.  Love all the landscape design at the Iberostar.  Hope the final move goes well today as Deb begins her next adventure.  It's been quite the journey for the two of you.

Badger, all good in the hood.   Nice otter pic on a beautifully calm Lake Superior.

Bob, the group on Coz is growing.  Have fun at the Money Bar. Thanks for the pics.

Twirls, dang on the lost post.  What's up with the possum?

Sounds like the brat pack is having a great time.  Have a beautiful day all.  Later, MB

Yes, Bernie, I use my kindle.  It doesn't work like a PC.  I won't bother to explain why.

The possum story was pretty funny, I think.
It started with me being dressed to go out to dinner.  Skirt, semi heels, hair done and make up, etc.  Ann had gotten to the restaurant early and was waiting on me.  Cammie had come by as I was getting ready to leave.  The neighbor, who is a pain, let her dogs get out and they apparently trapped a possum in my crawl space well.  First I had to chase the dogs off with a stick.  The possum was nasty with flies all over it and was trying to get in my crawl space which is covered.  It was frothing at the mouth and probably rabid.  I called the neighbor while Cammie called the police and animal control.  Neither would come.  I was for leaving it and going to dinner.  I was hoping it would leave but I think it has been hiding nearby .
