Happy Moanday BCers!
Survived round one of storms last night.
Round two started couple of hours ago... so far so good.
Hunkered down in the basement for the day.
Husband made it home from Houston safely.
BB,  Thanks for the tip about Crossbow.  I'll look into it.
Wonder if that is the product that you can use a syringe to inject
into poison oak vine and kill it without killing the tree.
jj,  Good tip about not burning brush with poison ivy in it.

PJ---Here are links about the use of Crossbow from the company that makes it and also one from EHow on how to use it.  Talks about the mixture and droplet size.  Good thing about the product is it doesn't kill the surrounding grasses like Roundup does.  I use the max rate so that I don't have to do it again.  If you Google "Crossbow herbidcide" you'll find just about anything you want to know about it.

CallMeFrank,  Thank for the links.  Crossbow sounds like something we need.
Sorry I got your St.Louis Cardinal avatar confused with BB's Louisville Cardinal.

No problem PJ.  I really like the fact that Crossbow doesn't kill everything like Roundup.  A gallon will last a long time.

Good Morning Campers and Lurkers
Tree guy must be hungry, I called him at 9 am and left a message.  When I got home from work he was there checking out the tree.  Expect an estimate soon.
Minor damage from the wind, lost a piece of fascia board trim on one of the gables, also a few shingles.  Will have to get a repair guy to stop by.  Fortunately there is a guy who has done this kind of work before and lives less that a mile away so maybe he can stop and fix it some day on the way home when he has wrapped up another job and has a few spare hours left in the day.
Have appointments to service the vans, one Thurs and one Fri.
Arranged to meet Grumpers at a hotel near Midway airport in Chicago on Saturday and carpool to the derby party at CC's.
Enjoy your imminent travels all you BRATS
We are getting plenty of rain, but the wind has died down.
Nice test Kwing.
I wonder if crossbow is the way to go to kill the multifloral roses in the fenceline at the west side of the property.
Sounds like your pool person is a keeper JJ.
Keep your guard up BB.
On the bright side, we have not seen any wasps in the house in a few days.
Enjoy 2zzday

Good Morning
PJ, I hope the twisters stayed away from your hill! This is a slow moving mess, wish it would go away. Thunder last night, more expected today. Dog is nervous and not eating. Drizzling now, and very foggy. Just...yucky.
Did some closet purging yesterday, trip to Goodwill today.
Have a great day,
Cindy

Morning all

Wind worse than I have ever seen in MX!   HMB has rollers bigger than Tulum this morning.
Better than tornadoes for sure.  Haven't turned on the TV to see what got hit last night.

Might be a day to shop :(   AASB fishing tourney NOT happening.

Happy 2ferday BCers!
The sun is shining and the skies are blue...
Storms are gone...no damage on the hill.
Slept so good last night.
C&C, Lil doggie was a nervous mess as well.
She approved of my emergency setup in downstairs bathroom.
Thought we should just stay in there for 2 days.  Huh No..

The count down to finals has begun. SC brought most of her
dorm room stuff back to the house this past weekend ...now I need to find a place to store it.
SC can now jibber jabber to me in three different languages....Spanish, French and German.
I told her to watch her mouth!  LOL

Wow Twirley - what weird weather in Akumal for this late in April.  Hope it stops soon.

You damn straight chica. It was way too windy last year. Not in the mood for sand blasting this year.

Clouds departed and the wind is down a bit.  Bay is pretty stirred up.  Maple and Sweetie arrived and so did Kim.  Kim and Joyce are 2 doors from us.  Not sure what is planned for tonight but tomorrow is the Tulum crawl.

Good Morning Guestbook Forum Members (), it's Humpday.

Thanks K and Sherry.

Twirls, please DO something about that wind!

Lotsa wind and 3 inches of snow yesterday, rain all night has knocked the snow down, but more rain the next couple of days.

Wag more....bark less.

Good Morning
Yup. more rain for us today, too. Little bit of distant thunder as I woke up. But temps not so cold, already 45F. Sorry about the snow, Badger. Move south, you can be the head ark contractor.
Chiroquacker for me today. Hope he can push my hip back into place, I'ma walking crooked.
I'll have to start looking at the ponies today for derby day. Anybody have any insider tips on which horses to bet on? Looking forward to seeing CC and TOMV. Unfortunately, got word that Grumpers won't be able to be there this year.

Shower the people you love with love...

Good Morning Campers and Lurkers
Tomorrow is the first of May
Cold and wet and skies are Grey
Snow up north and a windy Bay
Grumpers bailed on Derby Day
I must stop this silly rhyme
So I can get to work on time
