I just "flag as spam"ed your post C&C.  Just to see what would happen - ha ha!

Not a good idea crunchy. The new software has a bunch of automatic functions and bad things happen when a message gets too many spam flags. I'm just learning about these things and whether I can undo them if they are mistakes or jokes. Best not to tempt the software demons until we (I, Mark probably knows) have a chance to learn how to control them.

Hola!
Raining now after a warm day. Found out that my project Friesian mare is scheduled to be bred next month for a 2015 foal. Nothing cuter than a baby Friesian.

How cold does it have to be for a baby horse to be Friesian?

Paul, you're naughty but funny. Love you.
Everyone, have a great day, and hug the ones you love.
Cindy

Back at ya, chica!
Morning Friesians, it's Friday.

I'm feeling pretty low this morning, the man I've always referred to as my "Birthday Brother", since we were born a few hours apart, passed away yesterday. We've been friends our entire lives, not close friends, but close enough that we always chatted and had a few laughs when we ran into each other. Funny thing is that I actually saw him quite a bit this past winter as he was a tenant in a building I was working on. He had been battling cancer for several years and thought it was in remission, but it recently came back and nothing could be done for him.
See you on the other side, brother.

Yes, Chris, I'll definitely need some Boat Drinx tonight.

Wag more....bark less.

Sorry for the loss of your birthday brother Badger. Damn cancer.
We had snow last night, once again. Only a couple of inches though and it will melt today. My son's quote on FB:
"You thought I'd gone, didn't you?" asked Old Man Winter, with a mischievous giggle.

Tomorrow we are heading to Akumal for a week, staying at Vista del Mar this time. We shall see how that goes with trooping back and forth each day to dive/snorkel. May just need an extra beer per day to offset that.

Get a golf cart Nipper.  Fun!

Paul - I am really sorry.  Although selfishly really glad we all still have you.

I saw there was a person who had a heart attack in front of HAC yesterday.  That is either horrible and tragic or if you have to go maybe way better than a nursing home and worse?  I don't know. Kind of makes you think.  Hoping they were able to save the person though and they can have many more years.

On a lighter note............................. Whale, seriously, you should know better, now you have just made the temptation that much harder to resist........

Good Morning
Whale-SNORT, whinny.
Paul, sorry to hear about your birthday buddy. What Nipper said.
S'posed to hit 60 today, but back to the 40's tonight and all next week. I was really hoping to not turn the furnace on again, but so it goes. At least there is no snow in the forecast. Rained a lot yesterday, so too muddy for yard work today, at least in the morning. Might make a Costco run.

Interesting/scary thing: on the days when it has warmed up. we kept finding live wasps in our enclosed back porch. Finally discovered the source...a bamboo wind chime that I had brought in for the winter. They were up in the hollow bamboo. I thought I had read some where that only the queens hibernate. Whale, if you are lurking, please "chime in". On one day, we killed 11 wasps.  I hope that this severe winter has reduced the wasp population overall, do not need a repeat of last summer's invasion. Hate wasps.

Hola Clubbers.
FYIF!
I decided to take the day off. suppose to be SUNNY and reach 80 today and tomorrow.  rained all day yesterday, so I won't be able to plant flowers.  I should be able to throw some in the flowerpots though.  I need some new pots, but dang, they are expensive!
Planning on opening the pool this afternoon and tomorrow. Next week, highs in the 50's. grrrr.

Badger, sorry about your brother from another mother.

Cindy.. now that you found the source for the wasps, maybe they'll be gone. fingers crossed.  I'm not too fond of wasps either.

Last weekend, I took woody the wiener to get his nails clipped.  It took the gal forever. she came out and said it took 3 groomers to hold him and he xit and pi$$ed all over her.  I took a pix with him wearing a sign that reads "I pooped and peed on my groomer when she trimmed my nails"  I'll have it printed and send to her with a gift certificate to a local pizza place.  I felt so bad for her.

Twirls and Nipper... have fun, brats!

That's all I got. Ya'll have a fabulous friday!!

Good Morning!
Slowly warming up.  Everything is green and pretty.  Trees are starting to bud and the Hubby to sneeze!

Whale  Pretty damn Cold!!!   But they grow lots of hair to make up for it!    Funny thing is - Her barn name is Icy and her brother's is Freezy.

Badger  That's sad.   Glad that you got to spend some time with him recently.

Lucky jj!  The ice is barely off our pool.  It will be a while before we can open it.

Safe travels and have a great trip Nipper and Twirls!

Badger, so sorry to hear.  We are losing too many good people lately.

I having a Major dispute with Eye Mart Express.  Don't go there.

My desk PC will NOT go to forums today...???  Typing 1 fingered on Kindle.  Slow but working.
Nipper,  I'll be just 2 doors north.  I'll gladly drive you.  You can borrow the car if you go early!
I usually head to LOL-ha for breakfast, but not early.  Otherwise find me on their veranda after breakfast for a ride anywhere.

I have really been suffering with horrible anxiety .  Almost crippling and unexplained.  I am going to medicate and force myself to get on the plane.  Normally not like this .

I'll watch for you Twirley. Thanks for the offer. We are considering bicycles. Yaki and I try to be in the water before 8 so we'll look for you on the veranda when we come back in. See you soon!

Good Morning Campers and Lurkers
Boat Drinx is always a hoot.  Many of the world's problems were solved.
Looks like a nice clear morning.  Hope Louie the Lawntractor guy gets the mower running so we can hitch up the wagon and pick up the sticks in the yard.
I remember my Grandpa's weiner dog Hans.  He lived in a house on a corner lot with a fenced yard.  In those days the mail was delivered to a box on the porch.  When the mailman would let himself in the gate and walk up to the porch Hans would go into attack mode.  Papa got a notice from the post office that he had to tie the dog.  He tied Hans to the mailbox and sat where he could look out the window and watch the postman laughing himself silly.
Bosco's attitude with respect to the dog's name reminds me of my grandfather.
Enjoy your trips to the beach BRATS

Good Morning Wasps, it's Saturday.
Boat Drinx  was lotsa fun last night, thanks C&C, I needed that!
And thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts, it really helps.
Bosco, love the new doggie, I think we need a BC contest to name him...I think his name should be "Gizmo".
Nipper, Twirls, and the rest of you spring breakers, have a GREAT time!
JJ, that reminds me, I need to trim my nails, but I usually don't pee on myself.

Wag more....bark less.

Badger, i hope you don't xit yourself  either, when you trim your nails.

Worked in the yard all day yesterday and my body feels it.  guess I'm way out of shape.  We took the cover off the pool and it is a mess.  I just don't understand.  I bought a closing kit with a lot of great reviews. water should be clear when we pull off he cover.  oh now, it looks worse than a pond. I am fuming. Once I get it all taken care of, I'm writing them a letter with a picture. I think I need my money back.

the gals at the groomer had a great hearty laugh over the picture.

BC Name the dog contest.   Rodger, or Jack

C&C  Funny wiener story.

Good Morning
Bosco, I hope you went with "Yoda" for his name, I think it's perfect.
Waiting for the lawn tractor guy. So nice to have a guy that comes to your place for service and repairs.
Sunny but cold in the kettle moraine. High temps in the 40's for the foreseeable future. Would like to see some 60s and 70s. Afraid we'll jump right to 90's
Have a great day...
