Howdy and good morning all.

Chilly and sunny along the coast this AM : 30F at 7:22. Sun will change to partly cloudy this afternoon and the high around 57 degrees. Not bad at all.

Yesterday I got to the beach around noon. Beach kitties chastised me a little but forgave my tardiness as soon as I gave them the food. The keeper of the food always is welcome !  Had the tuna salad sandwich at Fibber's and only made one stop for milk on the way home. Did manage to take a little snooze with Freddie. She is a good napping buddy. Sue called last night and thanked me for a nice time yesterday and invited me to her house tomorrow. She is making meatloaf for dinner. Yum ! Been a while since I had some good ole fashioned meatloaf and taters. Hee,hee.

No big plans for today. Pay a few bills online and do some laundry. It gets pretty exciting around here.

Hi Jamie. Sue and I stopped at Dollar General on the way back from dinner Friday night. She found a 4 bowl set for a dollar. Cheap yet functional. It was just too funny that Sandy wanted Freddie's food and Freddie wanted Sandy's food. Wish I had taken a picture of the "food swap". Anyway, two of those bowls are stored here now. Oh, I plan to order an Isla map from Mapchick today.

Sure hope the Roatan gang sends us a few pictures. Pretty please.

Thanks you MB. Happy thoughts are always good.

Hi jj, PJ, Gem, Badger, Frank.

Coffee done and time to get moving.
See y'all,
Bernie

Good morning BCers!
Made it to Memphis yesterday with no problems.
SC, however, had lots of travel problems.  Her flight was delayed from late Friday night to Saturday morning.
She finally made it to Memphis around 11:30 am.  Had a very nice lunch with SC's future in-laws and family at their home.
Celebrated both SC and Zac's February birthdays with a delicious chocolate cake.
Was nice to talk with Zac's family while not rushing around with moving boxes.  Very nice people.
Later in the afternoon, we checked into the Home2 suites by Hilton.
Very nice hotel.  Would highly recommend for an extended stay.  Has a kitchenette, small living room area, comfy beds.
Free breakfast and wifi.  In the evening SC took us out for a very nice dinner.
Didn't do any sightseeing.  As we have lil doggie with us.  SC requested we bring her along.
Rest of the evening was just a cuddle fest between those two.  SJ and I watched movies.
Everyone is getting dressed and ready to leave hotel.  We will drop SC back at Zac's parents.
Then heading back home.
Catch up with everyone later.   Have great day!  Hugs

Good afternoon.  A beautiful sunny day.  43 glorious degrees and and snow pack is receding.  Yippee.  Early church this morning followed by a tan appointment.  Been dinging around packing a few items and some reading.

PJ, what a nice time with SC and others.  Bet Cudi love the road trip and extra attention.

Bernie, how was that homemade meatloaf?  Sounds like Freddie and Sandy have worked things out.

Sure enjoyed the 40's here too, Badger.  Any time-frame on when your sister is relocating?

JJ, starting to get excited now.   Any trips in the near future?

Hola Gem.  I missed Margarita Day,  but that one you posted on FB looked mighty fine.

Thanks Frank.  Right back at you.

Hoping the Roatan chicas post some pics soon.  Glad you made it safely.  Dreaming about coconut shrimp now.

Will keep praying for you Holly.

Edit:  Crunch, thank you.

C’n’C, Creamy garlic shrimp at Beacher’s is one of my faves!  We danced so much on a Friday night to live music Krissia was worried I was going to have a heart attack :) Johnny got Krissia up dancing too. Enjoy, wish we were back there.  Breaky at the Argentinian was not as good as we remember, better and much closer for us to go to Infinity Bay.

Hey, hey, hey, now, don't be ruining my bad reputation!

Had a nice talk with Holly yesterday morning, it seems mornings are best for her. Radiation treatment begins tomorrow. She asked me to share with anyone considering the possibility of coming to PM this spring that she will contact Hacienda Morelos this week to see if she can get a "group" rate and also that there is a chance that if her health does not improve that she may not be able to make it at all and to please keep that in mind.

Gem, I worked late yesterday, will try to call you this evening.

Thanks so much for the pix from Roatan, keep 'em coming! Looks like some there may be some significant snowfall near West Bend tomorrow into Wednesday.

JJ, I found out more about my friend and that fire, he is actually the BIL of our friend Theresa/Willow, whose husband passed away 2 years ago. He also graduated high school in my class. He was in his sauna when there was a small explosion in a nearby room, and he ran outside totally nekkid and stood like that for 20 minutes before someone gave him some clothes, luckily it was a balmy 40 degrees at the time. Bad news is that he lost everything in the resulting fire and had NO insurance. I'm going to drop off some clothes and boots for him today.

MB, current plan is to try to get my sister to move up here sometime in early summer.

Bernie, how was the meatloaf? I bought a turkey breast on sale last week for .99/lb and Babs made dinner yesterday with stuffing, taters, gravy, cranberry sauce, etc., yummy!

Low 40s yesterday, more of the same today and then colder weather moving back in.

Wag more....bark less.

Howdy and good morning everyone.

Cloudy out this AM and changing to rain this afternoon around 2 or so. Current temp not too bad : 50F at 7:32
and the high near 60 degrees.

Yesterday was fairly mundane. Fed the beach kitties and then stopped at Great Clips for a trim. Gotta look spiffy for my girl for dinner tonight. ( Badger, this is the night she treats me to her meatloaf). After hair cut I scooted home and made a yummy sandwich from the leftovers when Sue cooked the chicken strips; that was the night that I couldn't use the grill due to heavy rain. Anyway, I put on a load of laundry and sat down to do a little computer stuff; ordered the Isla Mujeres Map Chick map and paid two bills. I then checked with Freddie to see if she wanted to join me for a nap. I couldn't believe she dissed me because I had just put on the 2nd load of laundry. Sometimes she can be a real 'bee-aaach'. hee,hee

Today I'll pick up Sue around 3 o'clock. We have a quick trip to Costco. I only need a couple of items (bird seed...I go through a lot of seed... and Clorox Colors). Sue wants to tag along as she doesn't have a Costco card and wants to check out the wine selection. A bonus that we get to spend time together.

PJ, nice little getaway to be with SC and Zac's family.

Cindy, thanks for all the pictures. That house looks pretty big. What is Keav contemplating ?

Badger, bummer on your friend's fire. By the way, meatloaf dinner is tonight. Will advise tomorrow.

Good morning BCers!
Gray clouds and rain here.  High temp of 55F today.
Made it home from Memphis about 3 pm yesterday.
Unloaded the truck.  Which was quite the chore.  We had stopped to buy groceries.
After many trips up and down the stairs.  SJ set to work getting the tire off his Focus.
He had a flat Friday evening just before reaching home.  Wanted to take the tire to get repaired today.
Or buy a new tire is more likely what will happen.

MB,  yes, some of the flowering trees are beginning to bloom here.
Spotted a few ornamental pear trees and forsythia bushes in bloom.  Lots of daffodils.
Lil Cudi didn't know what to think about all the people at Zac's parent's house.
Once she spotted SC and Zac.  The party was on!
Cudi loves people...her fluffy tail was working overtime.  They all made her feel like a special guest.
Everyone petted her and slipped her bites of food under the dining table. LOL
She did fine at the hotel.  But she is scared of automatic sliding doors and elevator doors.
Refuses to cross through on the leash.  No biggie.  She is light enough to carry.
Most importantly she did not yodel the song of her people when we left her alone to dine out.
We waited and listened.  Not a peep.  She was still on the couch where we left her when we came back.
Such a good girl!

Bernie,  so happy you have found a lovely lady to spend time with.

C&C, SNF, and Keav,  Roatan looks warm and inviting.  Views are amazing.  Loving the pictures!

Uphill,  you are very quiet these days.  Pray all is well with you.

Badger,  thanks for the updates on twirls.  Praying the treatments will help her beat this cancer.  Hugs

Good evening.  Long day.  Up early moving clothes from the entryway closet and two walk-ins upstairs.  Was done before Jerry arrived at  9 a.m.  Third day in a row with sunny skies and low '40s.  Needless to say I didn't make it to the fitness center.  He sprayed the three lightly pop-corned ceilings, left and came back a few hours later to paint the walls.  I just finished putting clothes back so I have a bed to sleep on.  So far so good.  Keys and opener to Jerry and he will finish the remainder of the vaulted ceilings and walls on main and upper levels while I am in MX.

Got some real sad news.  My neighbor Mary Jo had a biopsy today and she has pancreatic cancer. Her Mother died from this many years ago.  She has become a good friend since Paul passed.   Not sure of particulars but we plan to get together sometime this week.  They were supposed to leave this week for an AI in PoMo.  Just another reason to live life to its fullest and hug those you love.

Pretty ironic Badger that Willow is related to the guy that had house fire.  More loss.  Glad he was okay and hopefully generous neighbors like yourself will help out.

Need more pics from Roatan.  Thanks for the earlier ones.

Hey, Bob.  All okay?  Check in please.

Looking forward to a meatloaf update manana, Bernie.

PJ, that cutie Cudi is a great traveler and so loved.

SoSo, how about a photo or two?  Sunrise pic requested.

Sama.  MB

Good Morning Clubbers, it's Twosday.

Gem, I'm having trouble responding to PMs, will try to call after work.

PJ, that Cudi sounds like a good doggie!

MB, yes, more pix from Roatan would be nice and since she brought her laptop along, it would be nice if Cindy checked in, hint, hint.

I received a text and an email from Holly yesterday, she managed to secure a reduced rate at Hacienda Morelos for anyone interested, contact me for details. She has her first radiation treatment today, keep those thoughts and prayers coming!

A couple of photos of my friend's house, he wants an estimate from me to tear down this portion

Howdy y'all.

Cloudy all day today. Rain expected this evening. Current temp 59F at 10:14. High today 65 degrees.

Very nice time with Sue yesterday afternoon at Costco. Dinner at her house. Meatloaf was fantastic. Sue is a good cook. BeBe was invited for a sleepover. Very nice. Sue made breakfast this morning : creamed chipped beef on toast. Haven't had that in many many years. I have a few pictures of Sue for everyone.

Yikes on your buddy's house, Badger. I assume it's worth repairing ?

Need to get over to feed my beach kitties. Will try to catch up later this afternoon.
Pics to follow.

Good morning BCers!
The rain finally stopped.  Still cloudy here.  Temps are in the 50F range.  Not bad outside.
Walkabout finished.  Pets fed.  Coffee time.
SJ got his flat tire situation fixed.  He did have to buy a new tire for the Focus.

Thinking about those Gimpy Roatan Pirates waking up to a beautiful beach view this morning.
Must be awesome!!

Bernie,  Sue looks like a lady with a great sense of humor.  She is a beautiful lady!

Badger,  sorry but SJ and I out for April in PoMo.  We didn't know SJ's brother was going
to jump up and decide to get married around the same time.
Whoaa! Lots of damage to your buddies house.  Was the burned part a later addition to the original house?

MB,  Will be nice to come home from the trip to a freshly painted home.

Twirls,  my prayers continue for you.  Hugs

Morning all

Bernie, Sue looks absolutely adorable and fun.  I am  VERY HAPPY that you have a great GF!

I think myself and my posse have all finally settled on the same page.  It was a shock to us all as I said before.  They are all loving and kind and I do depend on them.  It's just been stressful for us all.

Hacienda Morelos has offered good rates, breakfast and taxes included or excluded, either way.  They have been very kind.

Better get moving so I make it to radiation on time.

So glad to hear that Twirley. People all process the shock and stress in different ways. It does eventually wear off and become the "new normal".

Sue looks like my kind of lady. Great smile and laugh and she is probably too good for you Bernie! Not really, I think you may be a good match.

Good evening.  34 and clouds have moved in.  Was another beautiful day here.  Got a 2.5 mile walk in before my fitness class.  Felt good to get back up there today.  Afterwards ran five errands and completed my to do list.

Paul, the burn out looks like a big project.  Thanks for the update on sister's move.

Holly, will keep on sending prayers.  Hope you are doing okay with that first radiation treatment.

Crunch, are the doggies liking the new car too?

Pam, springtime pops of color always make me happy.

Thanks for more pics Roatan misfits.  Therapeutic snorkeling sounds wonderful.

SoSo, some of the Akumal changes bum me out.  Oh, phooey.

Hey Bernie.  Sue looks like a good sport and fun person to hang with.  Plus, a good cook....bye, bye Fibbers.

Where, oh where is Bob?  Please check in.

Hola, to those I missed.  MB
