Good morning BCers!
Beautiful blue sky.  Current temp 45F climbing into mid-70s this afternoon.
This weather is more to my liking.
Happy to say that SJ's hand is getting better all the time.  Physical therapy is working for him.
Wrist action is back.  He can splay his fingers again.  The ability to grasp or write has not returned yet.
But the doctor assures him that it will.

Badger,  looks like Joey was very happy to see you.  What a sweet boy!

Bernie,  glad you had a nice time on your date.

UpHill,  the wife-carrying contest looks like a hoot!  Thanks for the pics and explanation.

Now that SC's bunny has gotten too big for Elphie to eat her.  They have become friends.
They snuggled in the chair for a good long time.  Elphie was just purring away.

Just a quick note for Crunch. Was your FIL a veteran? My Dad passed away in 1999. It wasn’t until we put Mom in assisted living, did we discover that she could have been receiving a $1,400/mo veterans benefit that was available. (Her assisted living facility gave us the info) And of course it was NOT retroactive. I think it’s a disgrace that widows aren’t notified of this when their spouse dies. It took some time with the paperwork and filing, but it was definitely worth it to have this supplemental income to go towards the high cost of AL.

Thank you Cindy? I did find the new company and number this am. I was working off a 20 year old letter LOL! Of course they will not tell me much without a financial POA now. Argh!

Bernie - great news on date. As to the Cowboys? A mystery!!!

C&C, so glad you were able to have a nice visit with Paul and Babs even if it was short. Thanks so much for the pictures of Joey. What soulful eyes he has, who could resist them?

Bernie, glad you had a good time with Carol, best wishes for a second date. Love PF Chang's, had many a work lunch there including my retirement party. Always have to have the lettuce wraps. Lots of fun to order several dishes and share them.

PJ, love the picture of Elphie and the bunny (forget its name), good news on progress with SJ. Isn't your trip the end of this month?

Twirls, where is Darren and family moving to? Is that the same as Kiddo, who is or was married to that gal who didn't know how to manage money?

crunch, hope things work out OK with assisted living for your MIL. Must be tough, hang in there. You can handle it.

MB, what is wrong with your stomach? Hope you are OK and have a safe trip.

Had to cancel my cataract surgery today, was not feeling well, but also my insurance company still had the "auth" letter pending as of 1:30pm Friday. When I called them today, it was approved sometime after my call so probably just as well. Waiting for a callback from eye doc to reschedule.

Got lots done over the weekend, laundry, bills paid, etc. Later this month will make the last car payment and will get the pink slip for my Dodge sometime next month. Thinking of keeping it for awhile, it will free up over $200 per month for other things, whew. If I do get another car in a year or so, will go back to leasing instead.

Weather is nice but I get so cold in the morning, broke down and ordered a thermal undershirt from Macy's, 32 degrees which Cindy recommended last year. Cost $20 and those robber dogs at Macy's are charging $10.95 for shipping, last time I order online from them for a long time.

Good evening.  I do believe we hit 50 and sunny blue skies today with very little wind.  Totally enjoyed running errands earlier.  Looking forward to a brief warming trend.  Not so looking forward to oral laser surgery tomorrow.  I'm trying not to freak out.  Organized a boat load full of paperwork from all the spring to fall projects and off the kitchen table.

Gem, thanks for the reminder on the MX immigration form online.  Just printed mine off.  Totally agree with the non-retro reimburse on spousal veteran benefits. No quite the same thing but my former neighbor lost her home after veteran husband died and she lost her job.  Proper papers were never filled for the survivor vet benefits and she received nothing after his death.  Her home went into foreclosure.  A terribly sad situation.

Badger, sweet Joey pics.  He has the most loving eyes.  Could not have gotten a more loving home and Sophie will keep him on his toes.

Sir Maple.  Nice job on the garage you're working on.  Hope your hands are healing from that tin roof job you were working on.  Ouch.

Kim, it's sad that there are resources out there to help folks but no advocates to point them in the right direction.  Hope you get it all figured out. Sure hoping that the beaches look like they have been the last few weeks.

Bernie, glad you had a nice time with Carol.  Thanks for reminding me of the pack list.  Got all the incidentals in spare BR.  Need to gather the clothes in the next couple of days.

Cindy, that bacon is the best.  Lunds y Byerly's sell their products here.  Never been disappointed with their products.  Glad you guys had a short visit.  Better than a Skype boat drinx.

Bob, thanks for the background.  I sure wish some hot cabana boy would throw me over his shoulders and whisk me away.

Holly, your milder weather gives you some extra time to get her done with Chris' assist.  Hope all that great home cooking is appreciated.  You can cook for me anytime!!

PJ, that pic of Juni and Elphie is priceless.

Edit:  Jamie, our posts crossed.  Sorry that your eye appointment didn't go as planned.  Hope you got that rescheduled ASAP. Not sure about the gut problems.  Made an appointment for early November as initial treatment plan was a bust.  I'm all about staying warm.  Life will be so much better with my new purple snow pants and gloves this winter.  p.s. You've inspired me to donate or volunteer services to MOWs.

Hola Jamie, Susy, GMADeb, SNF, JJ, SoSo and others.  Make it a great evening.  MB

Good Morning
Crunch, it was Chris. (although I did alert him to your post,). Is your MIL in Tx. with you? Assume Tomas will be the one with POA. Most states have an agency to help with all that stuff; in Wi. it is called Aging and Disability Resource center. Might have a different name in other states. Look for that for assistance. A Thrivent rep should help with that, too, I would think. Chris would be happy to help with any info he could offer after a career in SSA...let us know and will pm you phone numbers.

Chris had the day off yesterday and was a big help getting heavy pots and urns dumped and stored. Used some of the soil to fill in the wet areas the dogs had been rolling in again.  They are getting better about that, I think getting hosed off and then dried with the leaf blower left an impression...

Jamie, sorry to hear you had to cancel...hope it can get rescheduled quickly. Feel better. That just is terrible about the shipping fee. Would be nice if you found someone with a Costco membership who could get them for you, don't think I paid more the $6 or $7 per shirt or pants.

Couldn't stay awake for football, but Packers WON! Whoop whoop!

Hola to all I missed, but I need more coffee right now! Have a great day1

Good Morning Cabana Boys, it's Twosday.

MB, don't freak out today, just concentrate on your upcoming vacation.

PJ, so glad to hear about SJ's hand improvement.
That cat on the left sure has funny ears.

Bernie, nice that your date went well, keep us posted.

Jamie, you are so right about Joey and his eyes, what a difference in his life going from over a year of being neglected by the previous owner to landing in doggie paradise with C&C and Sophie.

Happy Canada Day to our Northern friends!

A few more pix from the weekend...

Saturday night Chris treated us all to dinner at Don Ramon, probably the best Mexican food I've ever had in the States.

I had the yummy Al Pastor

Babs has been on a veggie kick for a while and she loved her veggie tacos

C&C each had a Porky Burrito, so big that they said next time they will just share an order

At home we also enjoyed some very fine tequilas from Chris's collection

Howdy and good morning everyone.

Little cloudy this AM and rain moving in tonight. Our Fall is here. Current temp is 60F at 7:31 with a high of 78 degrees.

Didn't do much yesterday. I had planned to walk on the beach. Didn't happen. I was going to have lunch at Fibber's but ate the left-over dinner from PF Chang's instead.  I just let the day go by. Hmmmm.

Today I might be doing lunch with Carol. We talked last night for 2.5 hours and never decided if lunch would be today or Thursday. Crazy.

Thank you for the food porn pictures, Badger. Glad your visit with Chris, Cindy and dogs was good, although a shorter one.

Cindy, I didn't watch the game last night either. Must have been a wild one with that 1 point victory over the Lions.

PJ, bunny and cat....just doesn't seem right. hee, hee. Thanks for the cute picture.

MB, I assume you stay in contact with Ed on F.B.  Please tell that silly man not to forget all of us on the Breakfast Club. Now go make your list ! hee, hee  Good luck with gum procedure.

Jamie, , why did the 2nd eye surgery take so long to schedule ?

  Hi Gem. Hi Crunch.

I think I will have some cold left-over pizza for breakfast.
See y'all,
Bernie

PJ, loving the picture of the bunny and kitty!

Bernie, best of luck, Chatting 2 1/2 hours, good!

Did a hike up Speckled Mt in Evans Notch today. 5 miles, 1400 elevation gain, 3 hours. Got some pictures!

Colors are out! Gonna rain and blow tomorrow evening.

All Summer long, I can not get a picture in the distance without haze. As you can see, the further out you go, the more haze you get.

You can see the concrete stations. Many of these peaks had fire watch towers. Many have been done away with over the years. I'm not sure why, less actual fires? Other ways of watching for fires?

I've been prepping my cabinets for another coat or two of poly on them. Have them all sanded down and almost cleaned up. Hard to get work done if I am hiking every day (going again tomorrow). Oh well. I've always been a work before pleasure guy, now I'm throwing in some pleasure!

Have a great day all!

Lovin life,
Bob

Good afternoon.  Got through the laser surgery but was kind of shaky afterwards.  Got an 8.5x11" sheet of do's and don'ts.  I will do my best to comply, but really wish I had waited until after my trip. Did a tanning appointment afterwards and then headed to Perkins across the street and ordered an ice coffee and three blueberry pancakes to go with lots of maple syrup and butter.  Had one pancake.  No hot coffee for three weeks.  Will be moving to ice coffee for sure and taking a fair amount of ibuprofen the next couple of days.  No plans to do anything the rest of the day but remove the gutter extensions when the lawn serv'ice arrives to put down the last fertilizer application.

Fall is a great time to hike with the crisper temps and beautiful fall colors.  Beautiful photos Bob.

Badger, Don Ramon's food looks amazing.  Thanks for the pep talk.  I'm day dreaming about the tropical breezes, ocean waves, good eats and meeting up with some folks.

Cindy, nice that Chris could help out with those heavy pots.  I'm hoping the weather guessers are correct about the warm up coming later this week into the weekend.  Hopefully you can get all your fall clean-up done. How's that ankle feeling?

Hey Sir Maple.  Someone on the BC requested that you share some of your FB pics here.  Pretty please.

Hi Bernie.  Oral laser surgery gives a whole new meaning to water boarding.  Hope I never have to go through that again.

Hey Twirls.  Any word on your test results?

PJ, sounds like a good prognosis for Wayne other than it may take some time, but great news.  Is Juni full grown now?
She looks like a little cuddler.

Jamie, did you get that eye appointment rescheduled?  That Macy's shipping charge was over-the-top.  Lots of time I will order more than I need in order to avoid the shipping charge and then return all but what I really needed but only if the store is very close to my home.

Hola to all I've missed.  Later, MB.

Good morning BCrs, appreciate your Thanksgiving wishes 🙏

Thanksgiving was spent with family and friends this year at our DIL parents home which is about a 2hr drive one way. We took a different route from the lake and it was fabulously relaxing back roads through farm land. Everyone had a great time and the weather cooperated, ~Sunny for a weee bit.

Gem your GGB’s are sure growing, hard to believe a year 💕 Wishing you a wonderful time this fall in the Roo, sorry to miss you and MB as usually we are there. We really feel blessed to have already stayed 4+ months this year. Right now our parents and pup are priority, commanding time and finances. Meanwhile our neighbor loves Zoey and has offered to look after her during any travel dates... doggy earth angel.

MB hope your mouth is feeling much better after surgery, such stress... keep your focus on the Roo. Not long now hon. You too Crunchie yTomas focus jeje.

C&C B&B sounds like a perfect visit with the beautiful golden pups

Jamie feel better soon, sorry you are not feeling well. Dang it, definitely the first thing I go to before any order is shipping costs... hidden costs in small print, ratbastards.

PJ, crazy photo with the two critters, unique. Blew my mind too. Great to hear improvement for SJ 😘. Soon to be on Coz for you two! We loved our trip there this year, some good news our Isla Chica is now a proud owner on Coz. We always take the ferry as flying into Coz is way expensive, good choice.

BeBe, baby steps with Carol you hornster! We need an uncle BeBe call jeje so you can advise where you buried the body parts😜

UHK, wow on the beautiful scenery.

Everyone maker a gooder! Gotta skoot, bottle drive mañana for social club events... next event is Oktoberfest.

Good Morning Gooders, it's Hump Day.

MB, hope you feel better soon!
Yes, it would be nice if Mapes posted some pix here.

SoSo, glad you found someone reliable to watch the pup.

Last of my pix from the weekend, we had bought a couple of doggie toys for Joey and Sophie, two large ducks, so of course Sophie wanted the one that Joey was carrying around and in the ensuing tussle the duck's belly got torn open. Cindy whipped out her sewing kit and did a masterful repair job in no time.

And, one last pic of Joey, who could resist those eyes?

Good Morning
Snort! Hardly masterful! Quick and dirty is more like it. But the carpet thread is holding, so far it hasn't come apart. How do your doggies like their new toys? Squeakers out yet?

Haven't looked at the weather page yet, but wind is howling again, with some cold, spitting rain. Think the local weather people said the clearing and warm up should begin by noon. Then back to 60s for a couple of days, YES!

Son and DIL made it home safely last night after a lot of driving to and from S. Dakota. DIL's grandmother passed last week, and they had to go all the way to Rapid City. DIL had to remotely set up after-service reception; her mother had her hands full making sure her husband was set up comfortably; he has had some heart problems recently and is on a wait list for a valve replacement in Sioux Falls. The hospital there recently lost half of their cardiac wing to a tornado...yikes. Stress for that family! Son was funny, posted "1818 miles in four days with a 2 & 1/2 year old backseat driver." Talked to Seth for a while yesterday afternoon, think he was finally bored of 1800 miles in the car with his Minecraft. Sounded like he was more than ready to be back in school.

Hope your mouth is feeling better today, MB.
PJ, glad to hear SJ is seeing improvement; hope it continues, rapidly!

Hola to all, I've missed, need a coffee refill! Have a wonderful day!

Howdy and good morning y'all.

Woke up about 1/2 hour later then normal as the rain was pouring down. I tried to pull the covers over my head to escape Freddie's "nipping bites". OK. Time to get up, you little biter.

Forecast is 100% rain today. Current temp 69F at 8:19 with a high of 76 degrees.

Yesterday I drove down to Myrtle Beach and picked up Carol for lunch. We tried a place overlooking the ocean and we sat outside on the patio. Each of us tried the Chef's Salad but it was disappointing. How does one screw up a salad ? After lunch I asked Carol if she wanted to join me for a short trip to Costco and she said sure, as she doesn't have a Costco card and usually can't shop there. We actually had a pretty fun time there. I only had 6 items on my list and Carol got some doggie snacks and bird seed; she couldn't resist the good price.
I mentioned that she needed to find someone that had a Costco membership and she replied "I just did" and laughed.  She likes to laugh a lot. Anyway, back to her house. Put the bird seed into a metal trash can she keeps in her carport so the squirrels can't get into the seed. It was just past 4 o'clock and I needed to get back home to feed Freddie. Carol has both a dog and a cat. I clocked the distance from my house to her house : 52 miles.   Hmm

Today I plan to call a Hertz off-airport location that I usually use when traveling to Mer's house. It's just a few miles from Meredith's business and quite a bit cheaper than the airport
location.  Also need to pick up a prescription at Walgreen's and that is only a block away from Fibber's. Might as well stop there for lunch. Maybe get sale items from Lowe's Foods on the way home.

  Thanks for the pictures, Bob.

MB, I feel your pain on gum surgery. I had 'flap surgery' years ago on my gums; won't go into a description of it but it was not pleasant. Hope your pain gets better before your trip.

SoSo, good to see you kiddo. Can't believe you remember my story about "burying body parts" down in Akumal. Poor guard at ABR that had to put up with me. hee, hee. Belated Happy Thanksgiving to you and Glen.  I'll try to work in a call to you guys soon.

Badger, funny story about Joey and Sophie 'tussling' for one duck toy. Just like two brothers fighting over the same toy.

Cindy, so you are handy with the needle and thread. Almost a 'lost art', si ?

Lordie, Carol called me a bit ago to invite me to go to the Greek Festival on Friday. I couldn't get her off the phone. hee, hee. Time for me to scoot.

See y'all,
Bernie

Good morning BCers!
Breezy and chilly here.  A cold front and T-storms rolled through during the night.
A high temp of around 63F this afternoon.  May dipped to 32F by tomorrow morning.
Lost my post from yesterday.  Nothing much of interest anyway.  Just the usual chores.
All good here.
Wishing everyone a beautiful day!

Morning all

Yesterday was busy.  I had the appointment mammogram at 12:45 during the time that Jan had a Dr. Appointment with our common Dr., which is south of my house.  She arrived at my house before I got back.  She usually spends the night when she has to come for a Dr. appointment.  I was at the hospital for about 4 hours.  First I was only having a Mammogram.  An ultra sound was secondary depending on what they found.  I had to go in twice for boob squishing.  18lbs is a LOT or pressure for squishing.  Yes, I could read the digital thing.  I guess they found something because next up was the ultra sound.  Then more waiting while someone looked at that report...  Now I'm being scheduled for a biopsy!  However it's not the boob that is hurting.
Then when I got home, I was starving and we both had a cup of chicken noodle soup.  Later, I fixed salad, rigatoni pasta with Italian sausage and crusty toasted garlic bread.  About 45 minutes later I was in severe pain.   It was so bad, Jan said it was a gallbladder attack and wanted to take me to ER.  I'd had enough hospital time already so I didn't.  She had gallbladder surgery years ago so her opinion is probably right.  It finally subsided and I went to bed but it's still somewhat painful to take a deep breath.

PJ, great picture of the "bunnies"!  Good for Elphie for making friends.

Badger, enjoyed your pics!  I'm sure all enjoyed the visit, particularly Joey and Sophie.
Cindy, Pearl goes right for the "GUTS", the squeaker!  She worked for 2 days trying to get her last new toy to open up!  It was tough leather so she had to really work for it!

Bernie, Glad you found a gal that likes to talk and laugh.  Maybe she will actually find your sexual inuendos funny!

Hola, Soso.  Your Thanksgiving sound great.

Better go.  Jan is getting ready to leave.

I did a hike with my brother and 3 others today. It's gonna rain and blow tomorrow, I think this is the last of the foliage for the year.
I've been here before and never noticed that there used to be a dam here, for some mill,

Just a nice pond at Hidden Falls

And from the viewpoint, still with the haze:

Bernie, sounds like you have a lady interested in you!

Twirley, No more! Your body needs a break. Hugs.

I still remember when I asked for your picture in that real nice wrap you had. Hope it brings you a smile.

Back to refinishing my cabinets. Have a great day all!

Good evening. 44 and mostly cloudy. Out earlier for a return at Walmart and then tan appointment. Was babying myself again taking the pain relief OTC and adjusting my usual drinking/eating routine. It's going good and hoping to get off the Ibuprofen real soon. Did a lot of trying on trip clothes and deciding what to bring and not over pack. Ha, ha. My cognac Vince Camuto ankle booties and x-tra fine Merino wool sweater for Christmas arrived today. I have to say that I am very impressed by the detail, quality of leather and comfort of the ankle boots. For the girls. Silly Maya

Bernie, hope all works out well for you with Carol.  Time will tell.  Happy Birthday baby!!

SoSo, thanks for checking in and happy belated Thanksgiving.  Sounded lovely.  Enjoy the soon-to-be gathering in the hood.

Dang Cindy, I am super excited about the upcoming warm-up here.  58 tomorrow, and mid '60s Friday, Saturday and Sunday before more rain and cooler temps move in.  Kiddo is suppose to do my lawn tomorrow.  MEA  here and kids are out of school till Monday.

Bob, keep those pics coming.  Will need pictures of those refinished cabinets.  Nice beach pic of Holly.  What year?

Hola Holly.   Is Darren's Mom getting settled in? I'm sure it has been a bit stressful for all.  Not sure what to think about your medical tests.  That was a long day for sure.  Hope you have a peaceful and restful evening.

PJ, here you on all the daily chores.  Get packing girl.

You too, Kim.  Super happy that we are all going to be wheels-up soon.

Gem, super excited to meet you both.

Cindy, that was one big burrito at Don Ramon's.

PJ, so super excited for you and Wayne.  Are fur babies going to be attending to by your brother?

Praise the lord that the six year old that was lost after getting off school bus was found after 10 hours in the cold around 10 p.m. last eve with his dog after playing in the corn fields.  600 local volunteers.

Be well and happy.  MB

Good Morning Clubbers, it's Thirstday.

Twirls, please keep us updated, I'm worried about you!

MB, would that be Puss n' Boots?

Cindy, yes, our doggies love their new toys, but Abby did manage to kill the squeaker in the round ball.

Bernie, Carol sounds promising.

Looks like we'll have nice weather thru the weekend and then cooler temps and more rain.

Wag more....bark less.

Good Morning
Glad to hear the little boy was found, that story didn't show up on our news. Surprised that no one was waiting for him at bus drop off. When we first moved here back in 1985 and our kids were in first and second grade, our oldest, Matt, became best friends with another Matt. Had a sleep over here one Friday night. Saturday morning they wanted to walk back to the woods behind us, maybe a half mile. We said OK, but take Pepper, our beloved Aussie shepherd, with you and stay with him. Was just getting ready to go hunt for them when the phone rang. They had gotten turned around in the woods and ended up at a house on the next road north of us. (1 mile). Since we are rural, we have multiple over-lapping services. Address is West Bend, about 7 miles east. Kolhsville volunteer fire department, Kewaskum school district, Allenton phone exchange...you get the picture. Got a call from the little old lady whose house they had ended up at, just about the time that Pepper had shown up at the door. Matt at least had our phone # memorized. She had a strong German accent, asked if we were missing some little boys. Said she was a little confused at first, since our Matt said he lived in West Bend, and the other Matt said he lived in Kewaskum. (9 miles away) Chris went over to collect them, thanked the lady, and scolded the kids on the way home. Told our Matt, ALWAYS stay with Pepper! HE knows the way home! Never happened again. (we also never let them go explore in the woods again!)

Should be able to get some stuff done outside today, still haven't cut back the peonies, and want to move one of them. High is supposed to be around 55 today. So much I still need to do before winter!
Cute boots, MB. Wish I could still wear stuff with heels. Stupid left foot.
Whose Birthday? Bernie or BeachBilly? Happy birthday either way! And Bernie? Carol sounds like a winner!

Long winded today, sorry. Need to get going on the laundry. Have a wonderful day!

Howdy and good morning everyone.

Cool outside this AM. 54F at 7:50 with a high of 67 degrees with a nice sunny day on the beach.  Perhaps I will make it to the beach today. No promises. ha,ha

Yesterday I did two loads of laundry, one in the morning and the other late afternoon. Went to lunch at Fibber's and had their BLT. Stopped at Walgreen's for a 'script, then to Lowe's Foods for groceries and lastly to Publix for chili. Someone told me Publix had the best chili and I was in the mood for some. I ate the other half of my BLT for dinner with some warmed up corn bread and butter. Yum.  I'll have some of that chili today.

Need to get the trash out.

MB, it's not my birthday so it must be BeachBilly's. Happy Birthday BB. Cute picture of Maya hiding in the shipping material.

Nice Fall hike, Bob. Pictures always appreciated.

Badger, not Puss n' Boots but rather Puss n' Boot packing bag. hee,hee

  Hi Cindy.

Coffee done,
See y'all,
Bernie

OMG Bob!  Thanks and yes, I smiled as I gasped!  LOL at least I had some meat on my bones and some boobs worth squishing!  BTW, I still have that wrap!

Badger, Of course I keep you posted!  No need to worry.  It will be as it will be.

I missed Beach Billy's birthday.  I haven't been on FB much.  Hope it was a great day, BB!

I have a trip to KC planned for this weekend but not sure I am going.  It's an "informal" (like we ever had anything formal) HS reunion.  45th!  Usually they are on the 10  year time mark but I guess since we are starting to drop like flies, they decided to not wait.  and...LOL... they chose a sports bar across the street from a hospital!  I am now trying to watch my consumption of fatty foods, fried stuff and red meat.  Bar food is not compatible with my tummy right now.  Plus it looks like rain for part of the time and I don't want to drive 3.5 hours in rain.  So it depends on the weather and how I feel tomorrow.

Chris has power washed all the patios and the house.  I haven't seen him this morning.  I bet he's sore.  Going to try to get the patios sealed today and tomorrow while we have good weather.  We have to do it before we close the pool and I'll probably have that done next week.  I don't think the solar cover is enough to keep the water warm enough to get back in my pool anytime soon.  If we had a string of sunny and 75+ days, then maybe!  2 days in a row and the pool temp gets back up to 79 so it would be at least 3 days of sun and warmth to make it tolerable for me.  I'll just have to start dreaming of Mexico!
I just noticed out my back windows that the neighbor's maple trees are starting a tinge of red colors.

I feel like Cindy...I have so much to do before really cold weather hits.  I'm actually glad I'm not leaving for Mexico next week as usual.  Now that the house has been washed of mud dauber nests, spider webs and dirt, I need the window washer guy to come.  He's cheaper than paying the housekeeper by the hour.  Chris has other more important things on his list.  I still have to finish clearing out stuff in the garage.  I have pretty good luck at getting rid of stuff by putting it by the curb with a "FREE" sign.  All my snorkel gear was gone within an hour and some light fixtures.

Roxanne has been in the shop all week and I'm looking forward to driving her this weekend.  It's supposed to be  about 75 Friday thru Sunday.  I'm having a couple of door dings fixed as I now don't park anywhere that anyone can get close enough to scratch it with a car parked next to me.  Most of the time I can find a spot but if not, I don't stop.  She should look brand new when I get her back, hopefully tomorrow as promised.  IF they get the new tires on her then I might take her to KC.  I just don't want to get her all water spotted and dirty in the rain.  LOL, I'm such a priss about that car.  Jay would be amazed since it's the only car I have ever fussed over.  I still have a container of his leftover Skoal in the console.  It makes me turn up the music smile when I drive that car!

You all enjoy your day.  I have a few early errands and a massage at 11:30.
