Good Morning Clurks, it's Humpday.
Thanks everyone for all of the well wishes!
Cute doggie Pablito.
Yeah, JJ, after this past winter we really need this getaway, but Babs could only get off work for 8 days.
Crunch, we do have to coordinate our trips better, it would be great to see you y Tomas again.
Twirls, see you later today!

Good Morning Campers and Lurkers
Glad you are achieving clarity JJ
Safe travels Pablo and Babs
It is damp windy and cold and we had some lightning overnight.  Nice to no longer have the nagging fear that part of that old maple will fall on the house.
Cindy made delicious pulled pork that I will take to the office today.  My deputy and I are providing tacos el pastor for lunch for the staff to celebrate public service recognition week.

Good Morning
The lightning made Mollie lose sleep so she is racked out on the couch now with an occasional groan. What a dog's life, eh?
Off to see my doc today to have a strange and ugly lump on a finger checked out. Thought at first it was just an arthritic bump on the joint, but it is growing too fast. Doesn't hurt, just ugly and annoying.

Afternoon, all
Lousy day here, just finished round one of weather alert "dangerous thunderstorms". Pretty scary lightning.
Not good news from the Dr. either. She wants the lump on finger surgically removed ASAP w/ pathology...said things like "don't want to lose the finger" and "basal cell" XHIT!! She also said "don't want to scare you" but of course she did. Double Xhit.

Don't worry.  I've had two bleeding basal cell carcinomas removed from my face.  Procedure was fast, painless and the little wounds healed quickly.  Interestingly, both were on the right side of my face and doctor mentioned that on East Coast beaches most sun exposure comes after noon when the sun angles south and west exposing the right side of our faces as we face the Atlantic. Good luck, you'll be fine but take care of it ASAP.

Cindy - basal cell is the kind of cancer you want if you have to get any!  Get it off and you are done.  Problem solved.  Not going to ever be much of an issue if any.  So get er done and move on.

I was awAke before Badger... na-na-na!  However, they did go to bed before me.   With the sounds coming from their bedroom, I didn't know whether to call a sex therapist or a doctor.  LOL.  I guess neither was needed. :)

Buenas Dias Clubbers, es Jueves.

Arrived in Akumal about 4pm, met up with Twirls at Condo, quick unpack and off to Cueva where we met Patty and shortly after our friend Sergio stopped by. Sergio said our ol' buddy Carlos (Efrain) formerly of the ABR is now working at LBV.
Many drinks and some good food helped wash away "Travel Day". Travels actually went smoothly and our United flight arrived 25 minutes early, only to sit on the tarmac for 20 minutes. We were told later that the delay was because Obama was just  leaving  town.
Later in the evening we were joined by Twirls and Jamie and So-So and Sundog also stopped by, so nice to see our old friends again.
Also met Jen, who works for LG, who is heading home today, very nice lady.
Feels so good this morning to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean breeze with our coffee, especially after the miserable winter that we have had.
Plan for today is to finish unpacking, get some breakfast and later replace the felt on the pool table at Cueva.

Hasta!

Good Morning
Thanks Ulle and Crunch. I'm not feeling so panicky now. (Crunch, was the chubs and sergeant major video just to make me smile?)  I have the "consultation" appt. for May 19th, soonest they could get me in. Had a choice between 2 surgeons; the one who left the ugly huge scar on my arm 'cuz he was too lazy to stitch and used staples, and was also a humorless ***** who acted like he had a stick up you-know-where, or an unknown. I chose the unknown. So trip to Philly next week and then deal with it.
I'm invited to a "luncheon" today. I have no idea what you wear to a luncheon.

Happy Thursday BCers!
Another beautiful day!
Cindy,  Skipperjack had basal cell growth removed from his head
a few years ago.  Left a lil divet in his poor bald head ....but no problems since.
Praying for you....hugs.

Day two of the bluebird attack... Have a new set of bluebirds nesting in the birdhouse.
The male is going nutzo on his reflection in the windows and doors of the house.
