Problems logging in to the forum?

I think there may be some confusion about logging into the forums. If you are trying to login at a screen that looks like this you are in the wrong place. This screen is only for people who have booked a reservation with Locogringo to check on their reservation or to make a payment, it is not how you log into the forums.

And, unfortunately, it does not work, Whale. LG reservations wants our condo arrival time and flight info and I am unable to log in. I've tried pretty much everything, from two different computers and several different browsers.

Can't PM Kay either because her email address is hidden.

Could you please tell her we'll be there at 2 PM on November 20 for us?

Mucho appreciado.[:)]

You could also PM her on Facebook. She has her facebook page in her signature so I am thinking she would not mind that. It is how I got in touch with her when I was having problems logging in.

Your forum login and the main site or reservation login are currently two different animals with two different usernames and passwords. If I remember correctly your Reservation Username and password are sent to you by LocoGringo when you make a reservation so you can get into and check your account and reservation. I believe Kay is working on a single password for both but it probably won't happen until the forum software is changed sometime in the future.

The screenshot I posted above is the Reservation login screen and not the forum login.

Nancyjo, I just checked the reservation login screen and it did let me change my password using my email address as a username. It sent the link to change my password to my email. I then changed my password using the link, but when I then went into the new My Profile menu item which appeared, the My Account box was empty. I'll report this thread to Kay so she can check it out.

And I just ended up contacting Scott in reservations by email. So we got it done. Just some glitches with LG that still need to be fixed.

For arrival times…

Please login to https://myreservation.locogringo.com/reserve
To login your user name is your reservation number and the password is your last name.

From there you can send us your arrival time.

Sorry for the inconvenience, we did not realize the online system for the some of the existing clients would break once we changed servers.

I was FINALLY able to log into the forum today! [:)]

I can completely see how people are going to the "Log in" displayed on the page header once you find the forum. It only appears when you go into the forum. If you're in any other category from the main page header, that spot says "My Reservation" That's confusing.

I was trying both log in's. Neither were working for me. But it was never clear, never anything stating that the "Log in" from forums page header bar that Whale is pointing out with this post was only for reservations. Since it has nothing to do with the forum log in, maybe you should just leave that label "My Reservations"

Having problems logging OFF. Using the buttons right below the Webcam button.

Using a different computer. Pulled up the LG page and says I'm a guest. Log On went fine. Guess I'll see if I can log off!

Main computer still has me Log On. Secondary computer shows me as Guest. Don't know what's causing it. Running Foxfire on both. Windows 7 Home Edition on main computer, Windows XP on secondary computer.

I see the "Log In" on the forum header bar has been corrected to remain saying "My Reservation" Makes much more sense. When it was "log in" once you entered the forum, of course people were going to go there to log in.
