K, so here is how the plot goes down.....

It was first gonna be Scubs to land, I was to meet her.....then HELLO Gustav....interfered with my flights....so I did the quick 180 and left 2 days early......still need to meet my Scubs......a woman that I dearly love she lives far, far away from me.......different time zones....so that is hard ....but friends will survive.....I make time for her in my life and she does the same, me loves me Scoobie!

So it was to be a adventure I had promised her that......we were staying way off the beaten path.......I think she knew what she was in for.....hehehehe....if not.....hell, I had her back as I knew she had mine!

So all goes well....I pick her up...we get to where we are staying......and let the DRAMA begin.......

We chicas are sitting outside having morning coffee.....and I yell.....**** is that

......Scoobie says Mags, sit DOWN

......ya just gots sum litter oin yer tail

.....NO!!!!, NO!!! Scoobie....me dun saw sumthin.......Scoobie jumps up.........yep we dun saw sumthing......

Some on the locals saved us form immanent doom......

Diamond Back rattle snake...Scoobie called it correctly....which is rather uncommon for the region, however I called the worker over that did him in correctly....don't need nun of that chit!!!!....heheheeh....nice to know we were having coffee 6 feet away.....that is how this adventure begins!

(interesting note....that dead snake was taken by one of the natives, we think.......nothing goes to waste)

And we ain't even put in a dive yet!

So couple of days later after we have done some domestic work....and boogie boarded....caught my first wave in Tulum......ROCKED.....I was flying high....Scoobie taught me.......even with Blister Bob......(my personal nemesis of the trip).......I catch my wave I am flying.......but CHIT....me GF Scoobie be in front of me arse in the sand facing me grinning like a silly Cali girlie....what now Mags?

Sorry, Scoobie for hitting ya face on.......good catch on the teeth......hehehehee.....kiddin' ya!

Scoobie took it like a Champ!!!....Mags, I learn ya better....K, Scoobie.....I trust you.....so again and again and again we rode the waves....it was a magical day....and how many peeps were there......hehehheheh......ain't saying!

Then we decide to do a secret walk......all I can say about this is WOW....thank you Scoobie for recommending the right pair of shoes for me!LOL.....my flip flops (shoes) ASIDE: Thongs are UNDERWEAR!!!!!!

........for this adventure.....all I will say is it was magical and refreshing......I am glad we did it....my $80 dollar shoes (flip flops) smelled like ARSE (WHAT I WEAR ON MY BUTT!!!

) for the next 4 days but it was magical!

K, so we had done beach time......we were tired, bed early......next morning coffee out in front yard.....this day we get this after 1/2 cup....

Just a boa....so I was better with my cam.....f-cker tried to hide......

Then he got corralled ....that is all I know....but it worked and this dude lived!...YEA!!!!

Hehehehe...Scoobie touched this man's snake I dun saw it!!!!

K, so we have been almost venomized......surfed.....domesticated, well as much as you can make a cat....hehehehee.....now it is time for another day.....so we set off for another cenote.......one that will have a place in my heart forever.......it is beautiful, MAGS, shut it!

And along the way......

Scoobie starts yelling sumthing about her long lost doggie......****???????.....Scoobie, that be Cotimundi.....nope....she be solid girlie.....dat be doggie.....K, Scoobie.....I believe ya!

I stopped for some more pix.......

Now it was time for the secret part of our trip....my blister Bob was aching......burned myself on a 450 degree pan prior to the trip.....poor blister bob....

Yep, I was looking forward to diving....blister Bob was NOT..........but we needed some sleep......there was a LG party the next day!.....hehehehee.....and we knew who was gonna be there!

So Gata nap it was.....

We went and waited......

I personally had not seen Akumal bay yet.....WOW....it is just, well you know....and I am always amazed at it's glory....love that bay........and then to see a rainbow over it....a slice of heaven....we have been so blessed this far in our Adventure.......(keep in mind we are well aware of the hurricanes and swells forming.......we ain't no supid chicas....meeybe me, but not me Scoobie, dat 4 SURE!

Good question.....that little guy lost his life....I was taking pix and for like 2 hours snake laid there (easy morning)...then we got inside to get ready for the day(15 minutes)....went back out...gone

.....so I would assume someone took him...his skin was beautiful and maybe to eat....I dunno.......his nasty pointy teeth...not so much 4 me...hehehehe....I saw what squirted out.....hummmmm......interesting encounter either way!

I didn't need no protection - but did not like the fact it was a Diamondback. I did, however, touch the Boa...I have little fear for such creatures...
