Thank you!! Just got my cooler today!! And after working a 10hr work day and getting home late..This brighten up my day!!! Come on Sept!! a little over a month until my first trip to the Riviera Maya!!

My status now says cooler carrying member, Whoo Hoo, I have sent my request to susieq so now i just have to be patient and wait for my prized cooler. I sure hope i get it before my trip.

What a fantastic idea! We're planning a trip to the Mayan Riviera in March and will definitely look in to booking an excursion through them. I've been lurking on this site getting SO much great info from everyone.
Too late for a cooler this year, but wii report back on our trip when we get back.

many peoople have said cuba cuba cuba.. mexico is not safe...........true enough, dont go central of north.... but i believe from the posts here all will be great...... we are going to relax and enjoy the beach, the sun, and each other, as couples should

we've been both to Cuba and Mexico- enjoyed both but my heart belongs to Mexico (have been to different locations 8 + times- the people are amazing, the country beautiful and I've always felt safe).

Have a great time! we're arriving on March 16 th and can't wait!!!

OK, I guess it's time to get this party started! Obviously, I'm new here. But, I see that I only need 60 more posts to be a Cooler Carrying Member!

I wish I had known about all this before we booked our trip. But, I'll know next time.

Gosh, I have so much to ask. Don't want to ask it all in my first post. That would be obnoxious...and could jeopardize my getting a cooler.

Four of us going to Tulum from May 27 to June 1. We've rented a casa for the week. We're planning snorkeling, visiting the ruins, salsa dancing, eating, drinking and being merry! What do you suggest as far as the top 2 or 3 "can't leave Tulum without doing"?

Oh, and someone at a dive shop said the cenotes stay the same temp all year round, and said I would need a wet suit...really?

Oh, and what's this "crawl" I'm reading about?

Must stop now. Saving other questions to pad my post count.

Kealmo: a suggestion for you. To get a better response to your questions, maybe start a new thread with a catchy subject so that folks will look at it and respond to you.

Hi everyone....the Kitsapkitty and myself will be staying at Cabanas La Luna in Oct this year and will be leaving behind a plastic cooler if anyone is interested. I've been lurking for over a year, soaking in all the wisdom. Now that I've got less than 3 months before our trip (June 22), my obsessive planning is going into overdrive. So I'm moving full speed ahead into participation mode. Ahhhh, I love planning vacations. ABR for 8 nights. I just hope the Moonrise Bar vibe I read so much about isn't completely ruined by then.

I went on my very 1st trip with the AASB 2013 gang
Wow! What a trip! I have been to the Roo Many times and have many friends in Akumal and Tulum, but now I have many more! I have always used LocoGringo as a great source of info but have never participated in the Forum!
