Hi Steelerman! I can't wait either! Looking forward to meeting you and your family! All the planning and shopping is fun but this anticipation is too much!!!...especially after hearing everyones trip reports!!!...at least we have plenty of time to be well prepared thanks to this board!

Pinky.I sometimes try to stay away from here for a day or two to rest my brain, but I can't do it!! We have been looking forward to this vaca for sometime. Thanks Locogringo for adding to the excitement

I know I can't wait to just be down there. We've been thinking about extending our stay, I've heard of so many cool things on these boards, 7 days doesn't sound like enough time anymore!

Seems like an eternity. My wife wanted to do 14 days this fall rather than take a week in Feb, July and November. I wanted to scratch our summer holiday in favour of a week this last Feb., and still do 2 weeks in Nov., but I got shot down on that one. In the meantime, our 20 year old daughter travelled to Puerto Vallarta for a week just to make us jealous.

Hey Steelerman,

See if you can't get the charter companies (I'm thinking Transglobal, actually) to run a fare sale. If we can get something really good around the 9th of July, we'll head down, too. Otherwise it's abut 340 days for me.

All the July people should enter their dates on the Calendar under "Your Travel Plans & LG Group Parties"! That would make it easier for all of us to coordinate...I know that so far a few of us are in for meeting at the Casa Cenote BBQ July 17th. My group will be at the La Buena Vida 4th of July Celebration too, if anyone is there that early in the month. The more, the merrier!

Another thought...people on another board (a lot of very good people, incidentally) are planning Playa Fiesta '05 for, I think, July 9 or so. If it sounds at all interesting, check it out on www.mybeachboard.com . This is the second annual Playa Fiesta, by the way.

steelerman, I think we can meet you now. Had to move my trip as I have to be back in the states by June 24. Not all coordinated but pretty sure the dates are July 13 to 20.

We're not arriving until July 21 so we'll miss the gathering at Casa Cenote. Anything else planned for a few days later? I'll enter the dates on the July calendar. Would be nifty to meet up with some locos - maybe have a LG cooler fashion show, kind of like the SI swimsuit edition on the beach, ya know?
