I totally agree! Maybe if the boats did something.....or someone actually came and sat in one of them............then that would be a different story!! But to just see those boats day in and day out is BORING!

Have faith mi LG amigos...sit and dream of sun & sand (while looking through the webcam) and if you are "there" at the appropriate momento, there are things to see...a parent and child strolling the shoreline, divers/fisherman in the boat and then it's gone, the occaisional visitor pulling up a lounge chair....or my favorite, the shifting patterns of the waves lapping the shore and palm fronds swaying in the breeze....aaaahhhhh, Paradise!

Tarashadow, Welcome to the board BTW

A debate might be moot. The cam doesn't seem to be working. I need a fix bad

Joe...I was just going to say the same thing. All I get today is the blue background and the refresh countdown.

But if it were working, it surely would look nicer with the original view!

I agree with Craig (maybe it is a Wisconsin thing). The original view - with the camera pointed more to the left - picturing the corner of the bay by the dive shop was a more interesting view.

original view was perfect, any view is better than a blue screen I go with the majority, with no arguements.

Me TOO!!

Love the cam. Love it. Thank you--whoever you are.

But--The boats and palm fronds get boring in a hurry.

Okay people. Haven't we stopped beating that dead horse...we can all agree to dissagree...I think all can agree that any view of the Roo will do, but I will defer to the majority...and the webcam owner (who I thank from the bottom of my hypothermic heart...d**ned cold here today!)

I missed the last discussion/debate but I agree totally about not debating it. No heartfelt speaches about the moral implications of seeing an old guy in a speedo. No pleas to keep an area that millions visit each year a secret. No turn it before I go crazy looking at that boat waiting for something to happen!! Just looking for turn it or don't. Let the majority rule..

I just managed a screen capture of the error message at the bottom of the beach cam window that flashes briefly every 10 seconds. Apparently Java can't find the webcam's images (files), so all I'm seeing is the blue window without any picture.

The cam should be changed back to the original position and the elevation raised a bit to show less of the near beach and more of the distant beach and point. There would be no invasion of privacy unless a person thinks that he/she has the right to sit on the near beach on top of a 10 foot ladder without having his/her privacy invaded. LOL

Agree with TerryTx, don't need to see "more action", just more scenery!
