We have not been down to the Riviera Maya in six years but will be visiting April 18th-22nd. Last time we were down we rented from a company called "Easyway" and were very pleased. Are they still among the best and most reasonable car rental companies available from the Cancun airport? If not, please give us a recommendation.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

I reserved through Easyway and got the best price. They will give you a discount for Locogringo also for liking them on Facebook and Google too I think. You now have to pay extra for the zero deductible, and it is highly recommended that you get full coverage. If you compare rates make sure it's apples to apples. If you decide to not go with zero deductible make sure and find out what your deductible will be. They vary greatly from one rental place to another. Hope this helps!

Easyway is still one of the best

Another one getting good reviews with low prices (I may try them) is Tulum Car Rentals

Compare the prices

Tulum Car Rental is just another America/Cancun company.
That is where we are picking up our paperwork from Cancunrentacar for international travel since it takes 24 hours and we don't want to wait in Cancun. They said they would have the paperwork at the Tulum office by 4pm the next day. Great service from these guys. I've rented from them for a total of about three months in the last three years. Never had a problem. Be sure and ask for you LG discount, they give it to you when you arrive. It won't be on the quote.

We just finished a rental with the above company- America/Cancun- and were very pleased with them.

We had excellent service from Caribbean (the only signage we saw at the office was America Car Rental and Economy) last month. They did confirm a Locogringo discount by email when I requested it and there was no hassle when I was signing paperwork. The zero deductible was included, but it now (on the website), as previously mentioned, is extra.

The drivers and counter folks were all very friendly. This was the first time we tried them from others recommendations and I would be happy to use them again.

One has to be checking back periodically on the websites, 'cause the insurance rules can change with no warning.

Do check the fine print no matter whom you rent from. Side mirrors, hub caps and spare tires seem to require extra coverage in case they are stolen or damaged.

Can't wait to go back! Sigh....
