We had a great 2 weeks, quite windy the first week and very warm ... even at night, windy the second week too but they were off shore winds so the water was mostly flat.The air was much cooler especially at night and morning, but still very pleasant. I love the Bungalows but I don't think my back can ever take those beds again ... thankfully I took some muscle relaxer pills with me that I had for a stiff neck because I had muscle spasms during the night and in the morning trying to get out of the bed ... Motrin for the day time. I rarely take any meds at home and I sure don't want to on vacation ...

We loved the Glass Factory, PDC was nice but too hot, no off shore winds that day. First time to Tulum Pueblo and El Paraisio beach club ... or any Tulum beach for that matter. Beautiful there .. Water very calm but windy on the beach .. quite chilly actually! Of course much nicer that what Michigan was getting! LOL

We mostly stayed on the beach reading, snorkeling and playing cards .. such a nice relaxing time! Loved the Breakfasts at Lol Ha, we ate at Loncheria, Cueva Pescadore, Turtle Bay, and Lol Ha beach bar .... had good food at all ...

Hope you enjoy my pics, I had a wonderful time taking them ... except for not remembering to turn off the flash on my under water Fuji (thanks Thomas and Crunch I loved the Fuji UW .. took great land shots too) while snorkeling most of the first week, had to delete a lot of pics ...oh well I took too many anyways!LOL Click on links below ......

Thanks for the report, looks like you had a great time! Pics are so pretty as always

. As for the glass factory, do you know if they ship? Would love to buy when we are there but I'm worried about breaking in my luggage.

Unfortunately no, they do not ship .... all our glass made it home fine in our carry ons ... bringing bubble wrap would be very heipful

Where were you snorkeling when you saw the purple fan coral? (I think thats what it was anyway! )

All my underwater pics are from Akumal Bay ... the fan coral is more over in the area out from the the old moonrise Bar on the former ABR property

Glad you had a great girls trip. We missed you. We were at LBV for the full moon, and we were the only LGers there.....

Came down to Akumal 3 or 4 times, and didn't realize you were at HAC or we would have looked for you!

I really wanted to come for the full moon to LBV but my cousins were not in to going

... we sat under the palapa right in front of the Dive center every day except 2 ... thought I might have seen you once but wasn't sure.

Nice report and pictures, thanks

Too bad the glass place does not ship, my carryon is very small and I wouldn't be able to get anything but a couple of small shot glasses or something like that in there.

You know Fins, you look at people and you think they might be Loco's but then you are not sure and being the backward person that I am I don't have the nerve to say anything ... the one time I did the person was a Loco but not "friendly" .....

I'm "friendly" if you ever run into me there!

Maybe we should get some kind of bracelets to wear. Yellow for friendly and black for "leave me alone"!

Thanks for all the great pictures. It really gets me excited for our first trip in June.

I didn't realize a full moon had an impact on when you would want to snorkel. Can someone explain?

I too would like to be able to know who is LG when I'm there. I think Cats' bracelet idea is very good. They should give them out at check-in if you say you are an LG'er and ask for one. Maybe one of the Ultimate Members can suggest that.
