Ok everyone, I thought I would try to give a daily report of my stay here in Akumal. We flew into Cancun at 3:30 and to our surprise went through customs in record time, no wait at all walked right up to a agent, went to get luggage again no wait, it was there on the belt already, picked up some Bailys from the licour store in the airport witch took the longest 5 minutes, went thru the x ray scanner again no wait, and was out to catch the shuttle in less then 10 minutes, no joke. The shuttle was waiting for us (Cancun shuttle) off we went made it to Akumal in about an hour. Dropped off the luggage at the condo ( Luna Azul) the shuttle driver took us to the arches and dropped us off, made it to happy hour at Lol Ha at 5:30. We hung out there or a couple hours meet some local friends, then went to La Cuva for dinner (beef and chicken fajitas) always good. Went back to the condo unpacked and went to bed by 10:00. It was a little cool and windy all night. This morning it's windy, but the sun is shining. Not much planned for the day, just hanging out on the beach, and going to the store to buy some supplies and got some more pesos. Have a Good Day

Well yesterday was our first full day here in HMB. We really didn't do a whole lot just laid out on the beach and soaked up some rays. The weather was great sunny, low humidity, and a little breeze, not to hot. We then went to a friend of ours restaurant in Puerto Advetures (Latitude 20) it's a really cool place right next to where the dolphins are. They have a huge grill where they cook fresh fish caught that day ( no frozen stuff), jerk chicken, lobster, shrimp, ribs, steak and veggies, the food was really good. They also had live jazz playing which is a great touch. We ended up closing the place down. After that we went over to Akumal Pueblo to Tequilaville for a drink, then headed back to the condo for some sleep. A great day to start our vacation.

Ok not much new to report. The weather has been so so, partly cloudy and kind of overcast, and windy. Yesterday mid day the sky's cleared and we headed to Xpu Ha and had a great afternoon, the beach there is one of the best I've been to, and I've been to a lot beaches throughout the Caribbean. We hung out at the beach bar, walked the beach, and played in the water ( huge waves). Whent back to the condo and had a few people over for a mini happy hour then headed to Pesccadors for dinner, had beef and chicken fajitas, always good. Then just called it a night. As I'm sitting on the balcony writing this it's raining pretty hard here this morning, but at least the winds not blowing. We are hoping it clears out soon, we are planning to go to Tulum and do a beach crawl today. Good day my friends. Andy Latitude 20 is a new place, they built it a couple years ago, it's not Gringo Daves.
