Am in Cozumel as of today for 3 days and would like to do a few beach snorkels. I had a few saved in my notes on my ipad but somehow deleted them. Any suggestions that would be good for a day or two. One that I do recall was Fiesta Americana to the Money Bar or vice versa. Is that a good one to try? Thanks for any quick tips.

1. Drift snorkel from Money Bar to SF and walk back along the road.
2. Playa Corona
3. Playa Palancar and do the $35.00 boat snorkel
4. Punta Sur - only if it is not windy. Have the kayak guy take you out.
5. Go to Club Cozumel Caribe on the north end and snorkel there
6. Chankannab eco park.

All good and the order above is random. Have a blast!

What Crunch said!!! But if you do the Money Bar drift, wear water shoes unless you'd like to leave some blistered skin on the road on the walk back!

I think Crunch meant Fiesta Americana

Just a heads up....2 different days in February the current was going completely opposite then
what it normally does.

Enjoy the snorkel wherever you go!

That is true. And like Flo-Rida Girl says, pack some sandals for the walk back, especially if it's during the hot time of year. Just put them on your wrists while snorkeling.

Dzulha (Money bar), and Punta Sur are the best two beach snorkels that I have found. As previously stated, currents at Dzulha can change, and be strong. I like to wear crocs to navigate the ironshore, and then strap in my weight belt once my fins are on.
Beach at Punta Sur is great. Again you'll be snorkeling in current, but it's not too bad. You swim out to the reg flag, and then drift down to the white flag. Admision to the park is $12USD.

Chankanaab is also a nice day trip. Go early before the cruise ships arrive.
