Got a rear end issue in which I don't think can wait. Can anyone recommend a English speaking dr who may be able to help my pain in the ass?

We had Dr. Alonso Ignacio Vaquero Schulte come to our house ... He was very good.. His phone number is on the previous link...he came when he said and even called me later to make sure I was ok.. Would not hesitate to call him again..

Staying at gran bahia principe. Had this issue before in Canada and the pains incredible. Sucks to have it when we just arrived yesterday but would like to deal with it asap and hopefully enjoy a few last days. Any help would be appreciated

The Bahia is just south of Akumal so Maggie's recommendations should be a good place to start. You might also check with the front desk as I would imagine there is a doctor on site.

Called dr nestor but apparently they won't do the procedure. Has to be done in a hospital.

If you need a hospital, Hospiten or Playamed, both in Playa del Carmen. Both have 24hr ED departments.

Abscess? Pilonidal Cyst? Either one is very painful.

Ok here's the update. Went to hospital at 11am. Just finished having epidural and surgery. Feels great probably cause legs are still numb. Should be discharged tomorrow around 10ish. Doctor says best thing for it is salt water so look out akumal.

Hey Jeff. We went to meet fransico anyways yesterday.he seems like a Nice guy. Unfortunetly I won't be able to fish this holiday. Was looking forward to meeting you. Surgery went well although I did get out of bed last night and fainted in the hallway. :(
