I was so pleased to receive my yellow cooler a few days before we left for Akumal a couple of weeks ago. Daydreaming about all the interesting LGers I would meet, the new friends I'd make when they spotted my cooler and stopped by to introduce themselves. I was a little shy to display it on the beach the first couple of days - it was just so shiny clean yellow, and obviously belonging to an LG neophyte. But on day three, I scrawled OLA! on the side with my Sharpie (that I'd taken along just to get LG signatures) added a few cold beers, and set it within arm's length on the shady side of my chair.
It was the only yellow cooler I saw in the 9 days we spent in Akumal. I'm sure I could have overlooked any particular cooler but after a couple of days I was puzzled enough to be actively looking when we walked on the beach.
There could be numerous explanations, I'm sure, as to the whereabouts of the cooler-carrying members' coolers. Curious, though.

I, too, keep my eye out for coolers when wandering about on the beach. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. You do have to look for white coolers, too. That's what us old LG folks have. Mine's so old it's growing whiskers. Kinda looks like Shape Shifter!
And, just sayin', Minneapolis isn't a long drive for me. You want to get together, let me know. (After March, 17th, though!)
