Has anyone stayed at La Sirena lately? Wondering how it compares to other condos on Half Moon Bay.

Over the last 10 years we've stayed in several condos on Half Moon Bay and they were all good. I happen to think La Sirena might be a little bit better than most. We've stayed in #13 a couple of times. Awesome view and owners.

Walked by La Sirena a couple of days ago. Looks fantastic! Only thing we're concerned about is that end of the bay has more rocks than sand at the water's edge.

We stayed there last April and liked it so much that we are staying again this April. As with everything in life, there is some give and take. The beach out in front isn't very good for swimming. There are steps you can walk out to go snorkeling which I did a few times but you have to be very careful of the sea urchins and it is rocky so the entry is experts only. My kids cannot snorkel there or play in the water much because I'm afraid they will step on a sea urchin but if you are an advanced snorkeler then the snorkeling is very good with lots to see.

All that being said, we are going back for a second year and staying in the same unit #13. The unit is amazing with wrap around ocean views. I could just live on that balcony....and I do while I am there. Our boys love the view and often just stare out the windows. The pool is great because is a good size for the kids and offers afternoon shade which is very important. We would go out exploring in the morning and then spend the hottest part of the afternoon in the pool. You won't miss the beach out front because, if you have a car, there are so many awesome beaches to explore. Many days we would just head down to Akumal bay and go snorkeling with the kids, have lunch, ice cream at Lucy's and then spend the hot afternoon at the pool at La Sirena. The staff at La Sirena is top notch and I cannot believe the housekeeping....they even wash your dishes! I hope this helps!

Thanks for helpful info. We will be staying in #13 in April as well. We have a 2 year old so a mothers perspective was helpful. Looking forward to the amazing views!

Just be aware that the balcony is not safe for young children. It is pretty obvious on the pictures but I thought I'd let you know. Our kids are 5 & 7 so we just made a rule that they were not allowed on the balcony without an adult with them but I'm not sure a 2 year old would follow a rule like that but then again, not sure a 2 year old would know how to unlock the door like my boys can

Yes the exposed balcony is a concern for us. Going to make a rule of keeping door locked and hoping maybe we can move some things around to cover up exposed areas as much as possible.

La Sirena #4 is equally fabulous, and on the ground floor.

Is #4 is the corner unit with screened in porch? If so I loved that condo but never heard back from owner. Strange and sad. Screened in patio would have been great for our 2 year old!
