This was one event I dearly missed. Need to know date for next year so I can plan accordingly. Did you dig Carnaval?? Got about an hours sleep before getting up to get on car ferry. It was a long day back to MSP on Wed. TMB

I looked for you but never left the Thirsty Cougar. 1runjuan...All that I am saying is we lost. Not sure what your second question was but this place is in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve on the way from Tulum to Punta Allen.

Not sure what your second question was but this place is in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve on the way from Tulum to Punta Allen. Not sure where the Thirsty Cougar is. We got as far north as El Toro. Stopped for a while at Senor Frog's. Marguarite and I danced behind the salsa dancers. My legs were pretty rubberized after about a half hour. I think it's hard to say Carnaval went down hill. The Sol girl float may not have stacked up to previous years (I dunno), but there's so much activity - it's just slightly different every year. To me, that's good. This was the 3rd Carnaval I've been to on Isla de Cozumel, and they have all had their different twists. The first year we ended up after the parade at Senor Frog's. I vaguely remember dancing in the conga line, and the mysterious masked senorita squirting margaritas in your mouth as you pranced by. The next year, the fireworks had lit the thatched awning on the side of the bldg on fire, and the place was shut down and water all over the place. We just moved on and partied at a different establishment. It's all good. Who was that pouring the refreshments into Patron's conch? TMB

ORIGINAL: DungSR Damn Beaner won the whole thing. I tell you my favorite buddy Hugo put his name on the trophy! Dan was the perfect host. I think he and I won the air paddle. Also, I only picked up 5 hitchhikers in the Sian Ka'an. One looked like Jesus. The other had to sing her way to PdC. It was an awesome weekend. HUGO! Got more pix???
