Hi
Does GPS work well in Mexico to help with driving directions? I was looking at google maps and apparently they don't know about making U-turns. Going from Puerto Aventuras to Akumal google wants me to go halfway back to Playa to a nice overpass to turn around - stupid google! How about my trusty GPS will it work any better?

We did not drive, but we did use our GPS for other stuff.

The GPS maps are not that great for down there, especially since stuff along the 307 are changing very rapidly. I would only use it as a guide, and check the route out locally.
