supposed to cover tires and rims if you are off road? (Still got the receipts). I didn't want to say much when I returned the vehicle cuz I had to glue the quarter panel in place with 2 tubes of 3M super glue gel. Now that's some great stuff.
I got all my 15000 peso deposit back, but the tires and rim were out of pocket. $2225 pesos.

Cancun Rent a Car/American/Caribbean, etc., has a separate coverage for tires, rims and glass (TGI.) There is a discussion about this on the "Zero deductible not an option anymore?" thread: http://forums.locogringo.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1522623

Easyway same thing.  Does not cover tires or glass.  Don't sure about rims.  Covered being sideswiped by a barrelling ice truck but didn't damage the glass or tires!

I bent a rim on my rental last time out on the road from Holca to Oxkutzcab. Cost me $20 Pesos to get it fixed. We lost our keys to the rental car one time and it cost us $650 Pesos to have the guy take the entire steering column apart and make a key and put it back together.Things get cheaper in the interior, then we found the keys the next day. DOH
On our last trip the trunk lock broke on the Tsuru while we at Muyil. They brought me a new car to Tulum in about three hours. We had to go through the back seat to rescue our beer while we waited for the car. This customer service is why I still use Cancunrentawhatever
