i am jealous, it hasn't been cheaper than 563$ from KC to CUN direct in a LONG TIME. We can connect in Dallas (AA) or Houston (CON) for around $350 but who wants a 6 hour trip there and an 8 hour trip back. NOT ME.... worth the extra for 3 hours direct (with a TV to add hahaha)

Most airlines charge for checked bags. Compare the prices with the check bag fee included. When I fly spirit I dont pay for advanced seat assignment premium seat food drinks So for me the only extra charge is the carry-on bag fee. I fly whoever gets me there fastest & cheapest.

ORIGINAL: arkansasgurl Yes, the rate I received the email about was for Spirit. However, pricing American Airlines for the same nonstop was only about $250 pp roundtrip for the same dates. I am blown over! I'm seeing a low of $367 for American over those dates. They dropped $20 since I bought a few weeks ago. My suggestion, BUY!

Really high still for nonstop from LA, hanging steady at $661. I paid around $350-360 last few times I went so hanging in there. Could live with $450, Maybe $500.

Check Virgin America. If you can be flexible with your dates you can find non stops for around $500. We did. I'm already shoping for our next trip and we haven't even left yet on the tickets we have. Looking for a fall trip later. I found non stops in August for 1060 for two. No bag charge and a super airline.

Hi panesh, yes Virgin America and United are the only two nonstops to Cancun, took United last year, they got the job done but were a bit impersonal, so hoping to try Virgin, people seem to like them. They are $661 and have been for over a week, both Kayak and Bing are telling me to wait, so I am since trip is not until May.
