Have rented many a car when visiting Akumal from Cancun Airport. Every time they quote a price without insurance then insist that is mandatory. Very frustrating. Has anyone had any experience with Sixt car rental? Any better then any one else?

Ditto on cancunrentacar. We use them for a month at a time, great service and the price you see includes everything. Airport tax, insurance.
