I am looking for recent info on the road conditions. Anyone been down towards Puenta Allen lately?

Two weeks ago the road at least to the bridge was in great shape. Maybe the best we've ever seen.

Nice! I will be down there next week between the 15th and 19th. Gonna check out flyfishing at Boca Paila bridge.

We will be there the 12th to the 21st. Heard from Xamach Dos and the road is better than last year, but we all know that can change with one good rain! We fish the outlet at BP at least once per trip and farther south a couple of times.

My hubby is at XD right now and said it is not bad...we have seen it at its best and at its worst.... so not bad means do-able....but then its all in ones perspective right?

That road is never good for urbanites so Doug yu better stay on the pavement. In 2011 we tried to get to XD but my wife had had enough when we were just past Yuyum.

ROFL! I'm all good! If it takes longer , oh well. I will be on Mexico time.

Can fish off any beach and drinks cervasas there too. I don't care. My gf will be with me and we will chill wherever the road takes us.

p.s. - We will be in Playa 8th to 11th, then Mahahual 11th to 15th, then Akumal-ish 15th to 19th, then back in Playa 19th to 22nd.

MAybe meet for a cervasa or Marg one day. Let us know.

We in Chan Chemuyil the 12th to teh 21st. Ya'll should make it to the MCBBA tourny at Xamach Dos on the 18th. We were planning to hit happy hour at L.H. on the 15th or 16th. and the Doug I was thinking of is Dung SR. but I'm glad you got a laugh as well!
