Can anyone tell me if places like Yal Ku Lagoon and La Buena Vida take US currency, or do we need pesos?

Most places will accept U.S. but the exchange rate is not the same. Most use 10 to 1 where the banks or ATMs are usually higher. We are takeing a bunch of ones for tipping and will get pesos for everything else.
