trying to get info on fees for leaving mexico [chetumal] and going to ambergris caye, and leaving there san pedro back to chetumal, my wife and I well be in mexico for a couple days then driving to chetumal and heading for san pedro belize for three days then back to mexico for ten, any info would be great , I 've read that if your in mexico for a week there's afee of 294 peso's? and and 7.50 belize dollars to leave san pedro but less than that there's no fee , not sure if this is correct, keep hearing there's a bit of a scam by the water taxi's that take you to san pedro?

Any info would be great

If you just google it you'll get all the info you need. Took a minute of poking around and you will get everything you need to know from good sources.
I'm driving from Tulum to Guatemala in April. Are you driving across the border? if so it costs $5 to have your car funigated and $26 for ins. going into Belize. If you are going by water taxi I can't help you but there is a ton of info on the internet.I can pm you the website if you like.

yes i've done tons of research and from what i've read if in mexico for 7 days or more there's a 294 peso fee but from what i understand because we are only in mexico for 3 nights there's no fee just trying to double check, have also read that sometimes the water taxi's are trying to charge a port fee {scam} on top of the 70 us return trip from chetumal to san pedro , and I also read there's a 7.50 belize dollars to leave belize but also read that some have been charge more ?
