ORIGINAL: OmahaBruce The Bahia Resorts will provide the a black wristband to identify any guest who has been to their resort "more than three times". Those that qualify would email the resort, providing the dates and which Bahia resort(s) that they were previous guests at. Email would be sent to Albania Batista at:asistenteventasbppuj**** It permits you access to every aspect of the resort - ie: - the IL Capriccio a la carte is available to you for breakfast, lunch and dinner - normally it is only available to Club Diamond/Hacienda guests for breakfast and lunch and it is no longer available to Ambar guests for dinner unless you have the black wristband. You may also dine at any of the other resorts buffets - you may use the buffet, a la cartes and snack bar at the Esmeralda. You may use the Club Diamond pool, the adult only jacuzzi pool (I love that pool) at the Esmeralda as well as their large pool. You may use the spa and gym in the Bavaro/Punta Cana resorts. Yes, you will receive a fruit tray, gifts in your room and occassionally a sweet tray, but I do believe these may be available to all Ambar guests. Staff recognize the black wrist band and certainly appreciate the fact that you have returned so often and the smile they have, just seems to get bigger - they welcome you back ! Ambar, Esmerelda are Punta Cana specific sections I believe, as are the black wristbands. My good friend goes often to PC so I recognize those areas and her band is black. We have VIP status at the Bahia properties in Mex. Gold denotes VIP, flourescent orange is 'club golden, then there are purple and a couple other colours, which are used throughout the Tulum, Coba and Akumal sections. Why are you asking?

OmahaBruce The keepers of this forum ask you to not post the email addresses - best to PM / email these Dave (Firefighter) - have you been to the Bahia resorts often? I had an upgraded wrist band my last time there at Bahia Akumal and bartenders often ignored others waiting in line to ask me what i wanted to drink- I had to say NO- serve the ones in lineups before me If a resort did this as a rule and ignore newcomers to the resort (aka lower service) that would be a turn off

Gold with black suns denotes VIP {5 visits but maybe less} Gold with red suns denotes VIP Plus {10 visits but maybe less} Flourescent Blue, Yellow ,Orange, ect is Diamond Club, Royal Golden, Golden Club or any upgraded club paid for. Flourescent Green is Sian Ka'an Other color non Flourescent can tell a number things, who your travel agent, tour group is, what hotel you’re in, day pass ect. Apple vacations { Premier Club } with have small apples on it. Others may have difference things on them. I think there is a Black ( Platinum), but it’s for Privilege Club …the sharks sell that.

Let me start by apologizing in advance, I just found this forum and we have a couple of questions...I haven't been to GBPC in about 8-9 years without children. Hubby and I are going with our 15yr old son this summer. One his main questions is what kind of beer do they serve other than Dos Equis. Are there things for teen boys to do at the resort? Thank you all so much! >
