Howdy, all !
Quick question---Does CRT offer any perks to returning guests? Seems like when we were there last year, we were given a different colored arm band that allowed us use of the spa facilities. Is this still the case, or has my memory failed me as so often is the case ??!! Thanks !

Your memory seems pretty good to me!!! We e-mailed them ahead of time and reminded them that we had been there multiple times and asked about any perks for return guests and if that included any use of jacuzzi areas in the spa. I recall that it was a "special promo" that hopefully is still on for you this yr. We had to remind them about this "promo" and show them the letter I had sent at check-in. Upon check-in the receptionist went back somewhere to talk to a man and he came out and assured us that we had this perk and then we got our armbands changed to the gold which allowed us late check out, unlimitied use of the wet areas of the spa and, I think, premium liquors, maybe some other things that I don't recall. Loved it!

PS- I got my yellow LG cooler the other day, it's really neat, and hopefully will help us meet some of the other LocoGringos!

In October 2012, CRT was "experimenting" with color coding the wristbands to indicate the guest native language (in broad terms), those with special package deals such as honeymooners, and repeat guests. The whole system was still in a state of flux and may have stabilized by now. Repeat guests are valued ! Make sure you mention that you are a repeat guest at check-in as the reservation records might not show that -- it seems to depend on who/how you booked your stay.

On a lighter note --- we joked about how many wristbands repeat guests, from Germany, on their honeymoon, would be wearing. Good for a tequila assisted giggle !

Thanks for the info, Bob. Will check it out next month and post findings. Have a great time in April. I know we will next month. I am soooo looking forward to the beach !!

Lifesabeach, You can't possobly miss us as much as we'll miss you. .Looking forward to sharing the awesome experience with the kids, though. Way to go with the LG cooler !!
