After 7 1/2 years of not being in the place that calls me the most...we have finally decided to return!! May 18 to 25, 2013!!! The sad part..it is to honor my dad who passed away last month and Akumal was the last place we vacationed with him! I will shed several tears between now and then!
However, I will now be surfing this forum like a California dude in high season! So, bear with me and all my silly questions, but since my niece (my dad's grandaughter) and her husband will be joining us, I want it to be a very special trip for them too! The posts will start after I take care of some work issues (damn work!)
Remind me how to do a ticker???

Sharie, hope to run into you. We will be there May 16-25. Twirly, we met you last year in front of Turtle Bay looking at the menu one afternoon and then later that evening when we were eating at Cueva and you were on your way to TB. Looking like a good week for making new friends!

Thanks for your thoughts....he was my mom's caretaker, so that has fallen on me. I really need to destress so I can prepare myself for this upcoming long haul of elder care....and I work full-time. With several caretakers, I just need to keep the schedule straight. I will probably be a mess when I get there, so if you see some sobbing woman who doesn't look happy...it's probably me (or some poor tourist going home)
