Is there a better two bedroom condo on HMB than Vista del Mar?
What other ones should I consider?

I think Vista del Mar, Playa Blanca, La Sirena, La Joya, The Reef, La Bahia, Tanik are all within about $30 of each other. Take a look under the accommodations tab.

"cheap" and "Akumal" aren't words I usually use together.

I stayed at Vista Del Mar in December, tried for Feb too but didn't work out. It is a very good spot to stay. Convenient store attached to the place. Restaurant and pool steps away. Nice walk to Akumal bay from there. Accommodations are really good there. Beach is awesome too.

All personal preference though.

The easy way to do it is to contact LocoGringo and ask them what they have in your price range. They have a bunch of choices from less than $100 to $250.
