Hi

I am looking at Excellence Riviera Cancun and Grand Palladium Colonial and trying to compare beach and snorkeling in both places as those are more important to me than accomodations. What do you know about the beach at Excellence Riviera Cancun and can one snorkel there right off the beach without having to take a boat?

Do you know of any other 4 star resorts in Akumal of closeby that have good beach and snorkeling right off the beach?

I can only speak about the Palladium. I think the snorkeling is pretty darn good there. And if it doesn't suit you, Akumal Bay is a short collectivo ride away
