Status: offline 		Last time we ate at Naty's in the pueblo was March 2012; anyone know if he's still in business?

Also, we love live music but hate the bar scene. Would love to take in some Latin/Mexican music while we're down there this trip in February but not sure where to go. Enjoyed the flamenco dancers and also the family dancing at the Mayan buffet last year but would really like to hear a band. Usually stay away from Playa Del Carmen just due to the crowds but might risk it if we knew where/when to go.

At lastly, are there any new places in the Akumal Pueblo to eat since last year?

Leo's service is SLOW...about an hour wait for food and I really think the pizza has gone down hill...but the delivery service is kewl!!!

La Palapa....apparently my beloved Valentene (sp) is leaving....so we will see there....ohhhhh his food is delic....well I get what I want!

The sports bar up the street still has fish (what ever they have fresh) so I just deal....the sauce they have for the chips...ROX!!!

Status: offline 		Hi Cathie9, Have you been to Xcaret? We took in the evening show there in 2009.It is all music and dance,telling the story of Mexican Culture over time.The music was fantastic! You can go and make a day of it and explore the park,ending up the evening with the show, or I think they also serve a meal beforehand if you just want to go for the evening.There is a website you can check out. We loved the show,and may go back again this April.

Status: offline 		Went to Naty's to pick up a pollo for lunch today but it was CLOSED!


I'm guessing it was only temporary - maybe for Ash Wednesday? I'll check again before I head back. Instead I found another place just a few doors down from Tequilaville (near the top of the hill) and it was also good!

Status: offline 		Yup, it was closed Wednesday but OPEN today. The chicken and sides were quickly devoured once I brought it to our HMB condo.
