someone recently inquired about a local radio station while in Akumal and I hope I'm not too late with a response! 106.3 FM2 or as they say on el radio--cientoseis punta tres effe mme dos! They p[lay a nice mix of Mexican and musica Americana. enjoy!

Thanks Tammy. That's XHLAYA broadcasting from PDC according to my radio guide. It also streams over the internet for those not in Akumal but want to experience it.
