Ok I know this is strange....but not for me.

Heading home this evening west bound on I44.....mini van with the license plate..Akumal....Mo license.....two ladies, LG or not?

The thing is...what are the odds of seeing personal plates with Akumal on it........wish I would have had my LG cap with me.....

Me neither!!!

Last fall we pulled up behind a car with an I Love Akumal license plate holder on it ~ I made Tim follow her but we got separated at a red light!

She was driving a light blue or silver Mercedes or Jaguar (can't remember which, just know it was expensive!) and pulled into the El Dorado Hills Town Center ~ I'm sure Tim was happy that we couldn't find her ~ I surely would have made the poor woman think I was a stalker if I had jumped out of our car and shouted ~ I love Akumal too!!!

I gave that some thought.....but they got ahead of me and I couldn't tell if they got off the highway.....and when I got to my exit it was time to give up. I figured they either had to be on this site.....maybe lurk....

I don't think they were daiy commuters...I have been traveling this part of the interstate for a bunch of years and you get to know the cars you see in the a.m. and p.m......I think they may have been just out for the day....but I think they may just be in the area....who knows...

If you are really curious, in Colorado you can find out who owns a license plate. It's a public record but they make you jump through some hoops to get the information, like a waiting period, filling out an application with your life history and criminal background, giving them your name, address, and credit card numbers along with the secret numbers on the back, etc. Just kidding about most of this. But, you really can get it, do have to fill out a form, pay a fee and have a waiting period. They want to filter out the stalkers. That may eliminate you shifty!

I have been waiting all evening for your response Whale and you didn't let me down....

Missouri is a hard state to deal with and I have programs at work to get information but not using a license plate number....

Ok, I'm taking odds on how long this mystery will remain a mystery. No way would somebody be fanatical enough to have that plate yet not be a LG!

I will be in Akumal on 3/2 or 3/3 (perhaps both) and definitely plan on getting some Akumal car bling.

In Michigan my license plate reads "AKUMAL,"
Hubby has "QROO,"
DD has "ISLALVR".

Wouldn't even matter which state the cop buddies are from, since we know it's a Missouri plate. Okay...there are probably a few people here that are law enforcement types. Someone run it and find out!

In Colorado, everything is a hoop... I'm currently working on getting my sealed birth certificate. Been jumping through hoops since I was 18, to get that. Now it's FINALLY gonna happen. And of course, the fee...
