Wife says it is a long walk. She said it seems to be longer walk then going from highway to Yal Ku Lagoon for comparison.

I don't remember it being that much of a walk to the entrance at all.
Especially since you are walking a fair amount to get around to everything in the park.

It is really close, especially when going Northbound. The entrance is right on the highway.
Going south you may have a little longer of a walk to get across the highway. There is an underpass so you can avoid the "chicken" thing.
It is all on Google Earth street view now, so you can check it out.
