Wow. Just went to see "The Hobbit" last night and those opening shots of the countryside sure brings that to mind!!

Absolutely beautiful area and you have shown it well Sue. I'm not all the way through yet - watching a bit between baking and preparing for tonight and tomorrow. It makes for fun rest periods! Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Didn't see any hobbits but sure saw alot of friendly kiwis.
We were there just prior to the release of the movie .....
Will be going back...as soon as possilbe
