Because they are nervous about the construction coming up at the ABR some friends of ours asked me to look into other All Inclusive Resorts near Akumal or Puerto Adventuras for an upcoming vacation and I just noticed that LG no longer represents many of them?
Whats Up??

I'm making this a FAQ since I'm sure LG's change to a booking engine for most of the AIs has been noticed. Scroll down for Kay's reply regarding that.

Hi guys good morning. No in 2013, Loco gringo did not renew their contracts with many of the resorts. The rates we were being given were not competitive with those big online travel agencies and we could not compete.

Instead we will offer vacation packages with Air & Hotel or Hotel only which can be booked in real time. This will provide you with the best possible rates available, and you can book in an instant. We have resorts in the Riviera Maya, Cancun, Cozumel as well as other Caribbean destinations, Florida, Hawaii, etc. All very competitively priced.

If you have 2013 reservations with us for a resort, your reservations are fine.

I am confused on reservations with loco gringo. I guess there are two ways to do a reservation. one that is a format of back and forth emails and one that is electronic??? I see bahia on the electronic but not abr. I see abr on the email format but not bahia. so confusing.

monofrio, when Locogringo first came out with the vacation packages deal, they specifically noted that ABR does not participate with the vendor they use to book the air and hotel packages. So you need to book ABR with LG via email and book the air yourself, not that hard. Hope that helps.
