Hola, can anyone tell me - rented a car from Easyway, just got a response, they are asking for drivers license info for a reservation confirmation, is this a good idea? Do you pay on arrival ? Been to the area several times, first time renting a car. Got all the good info about Easyway from u guys, just these few questions. Thanks : )

Yes, give them the information. I rent from them all the time (just recently had a car for 9 days). You won't have a problem. Give them your flight info too so they can meet you at the airport.

Nope, no need to pay ahead of time. You can pay with your Visa credit card (we always do). Lots of people I know who live there part time also rent long term from Jesus @ Easyway....never an issue. We've been renting from them for the past 3-4 years, often for a month at a time...and we've never had a problem.

That is standard practice. I paid in full by credit card at pickup and signed another blank imprint as a guarantee. They've always given me the blank back when I returned the car.

I've rented many times for a month at a time and have never had to give any info upon making my res. I rent from the other guys, Cancun and pay cash to get the best deal. Last trip was 24 days and they brought me a new car to Tulum in the middle of the trip when I had problems with the trunk lock.
They always give excellent service.

We had an issue with our car this past February, and Easyway brought us a new car within 40 minutes of phoning them. We have never had a problem that hasn't been taken care off immediately.

One trip we had reserved an automatic for the month (so I could drive too). They didn't have one when we got there, but we got the 14 passenger van for the month instead. Worked out well given our kids, and luggage...and 9 people at the condo, we all fit in the 'magic bus' to go to dinners!!
