I went on line to book our car rental...after the latest posts it seems everyone prefers Easyway...we have always rented with Cancun rent a car in the past and not had any problems...Easyway is almost $100.00 more for the 2 week rental for the same car. (seems like a big difference on the same car, same insurance tax etc.) Can anyone way in with their recent experiences with either?

We rented with America car rental once again in November . Their office has moved a few blocks behind the old one and I freaked a bit because we had an unmarked van and un logo'd driver and then the slightly different new logo and the new shop but otherwise all was perfect . There were many condo owners and other return customers as we waited for our van back . The knives may be out for some airport tax money from these two offsite renters and costs may rise significantly . Lets hope not . The Navidad holiday rate is more than twice November's price , everywhere . America was good for us , again .

I just rented from Easyway a couple days ago. In Akumal now but was in Playa Del Carmen I went there and didn't have a reservation. And the cheap car I wanted was not there in an Automatic. So he sent me to his partner around the block, at ISIS car rental. Was awesome. Easy way guy, Carlos, sent me to see Edgar at ISIS and even walked me over to meet him. Great guys. So, then Carlos gets me a deal with Edgar. Same price for a better car And Edgar brought it to my hotel too, delivered. Full of gas and in great shape too. Although I didn't get an Easyway rental, they helped me get a car with auto transmission. For same price. Will definitely go with them when I return in February although I will make a reservation next time, hehehhee Just my 2 cents, Cheers! Doug

I noticed that the prices for Cancun/America, the same company, have dropped back to what I consider normal (for March/April). In the $200 zone per week with insurance. They were about $100 a week more just a few weeks ago.
