The pics aren't great-they were snapshots taken from video. They were 15-20 feet down, looked blueish/gray, the biggest one was pretty good sized. The shape that is made with their fins and tail is distinct. Any suggestions? THANX! (the big one's tail was damaged somewhat. looked liked it had been bit or chewed on.)

I believe these are chubs (yellow/bermuda). One of these types bit my finger while I was trying to take a picture on our first boat snorkel in Cozumel...

It didn't draw blood, but it removed skin, like a scrape...

THANX-WATER RAT! So, do think this is the same fish species that follows you up close while snorkeling? I have video in my last TR that shows they swim right up to your camera!

Oh yeah! One of these brats bit my knuckle when I was trying to take a photo!!

After that, every time they came too close, I'd swipe at them with my camera!!
