Sorry, my late husband and I drove a rental car over there. But if wanting a tour, try for a private one, as the group tours take forever to pick up people at other hotels and then stop for shopping at places they get kickbacks, etc. and you get there finally in the middle of the day when it is hotter than heck (I bought two bottles of water and poured one of them on me). I think AnotherBob and his crew took a private tour with Entertainment Plus (which gets good reviews) last year or so. Try and do the one which includes Ek Balam. This allows you to go when and where you want. I have also heard good things about iTours which is based out of Tulum. Welcome to Locogringo and post away
