It seems virtually impossible for me to buy biodegradable sunscreen online. Either they do not ship to Finland (hey guys it's not the Antarctic! Nokia and Angry Birds ring a bell? It's just east of Sweden. What's the problem???) or the shipping costs are horrendous. I tried buying Carribean Solutions Solguard 25 spf 6 ounce -bottle on amazon.uk but the total cost would have been more than 35 euros (that's 45 dollars!). 29 dollars for the sunscreen and 16 for shipping. One measly bottle. I feel sick.
But the fact is that I can't get biodegradable sunscreen here at home and that means I have to buy it there in Akumal. Where would be the best place to buy it? It's probably quite expensive in the hotel shops. How about in the local markets?

Not sure how you are getting to Akumal, but if taking a private transfer, USA Transfers can provide it for you, think I read it costs about $12US and they will have it for you when they pick you up, several folks on another forum said the quality is pretty good.

Unfortunately(?) we already have transfer included in our package otherwise that would have been a perfect solution.
