Saw these wine glass while searching for a leopard print one last night and knew I had to share with LG members! I would have posted a pic, but the file was too large and I'm too lazy to resize it. They are gorgeous wine glasses with sea turtles hand painted on them. I've never seen anything like them. Here's the link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/92940008/wine-glasses-hand-painted-sea-turtles

Many gorgeous things in that particular etsy store. There's a few other turtle glasses too, as well as decanters and serving plates.

ORIGINAL: rupietoot I just looked at everything. They have some beautiful things, very well done. Thanks for the picture and the link. Not sure how they would ship though.... Susan From the US to Canada you risk getting hit with tax and customs fees. If it's marked "gift" and has a value of under $60, it's usually OK, however, depending on the description of the item, they may still decide it's worth more and ding you anyway. I have most of my family there and have stopped sending things via US online stores for that reason. If I pack it and mail it myself I can usually get away with it, but when it comes from a store or 3rd party, they're going to put full value and exactly what it is. Couple years ago my mother had a $12 bill to pay the post man for a $30 item I sent via a US site. It didn't come marked "gift"

Those are lovely...don't know if I'd trust the postal system to deliver them in once piece however.

Isla, if you packaged it and mailed it yourself and it was a puff pack or small box, probably OK. Biggest issues I've had personally were when I ordered from US stores online and had them send to Canada. Seems like a red flag for any custom's inspector with an attitude, or at least it has been for my items.

Following the link in their etsy store profile, http://www.sackettdoodles.com/sackettdoodlesreg-home.html they're in Biloxi, MS This was a great find. Thanks, Tamie! I absolutely love glassware art, both unique blown glass and hand painted items like these. I have a collections of pieces I've found all over the world when traveling. I like to just get a pair or set of 4 when i find something I love, mostly wine and martini glasses, but my collection of liqueur glasses and shot glasses are growing too.
