Good morning! We're using USA Transfers to get from airport to Akumal. What should I tip the driver and the greeter at the airport? There are 5 of us and I am figuring $20 for the driver and $5 for the greeter. Thanks!

I do the same as Conifer but I travel solo. Last trip I gave the driver $15, he stopped for water and 7-11 would not break my 200 peso note so he bought me water with his own money (which I of course repaid).

Conifer, I hear ya, but after almost 5 hours on a plane with dry air, I am thirsty and last trip was staying first 3 nights at HAC, and the prices at Chomak are a bit higher than 7-11, so I figure 5 minutes is not gonna kill me when you look at the bigger picture.

We tip the same and always stop as well...Nothing like a cool beverage while cruising down 307...! oh, and we always buy a coke (or water or whatever he wants) for the driver...
