In the upper right corner of the webcam view, there is a piece of land off in the distance. Is that the South Akumal Bay point and is the Bahia Principe on the other side of that point?

yes, click on , to do and see, at the top of page , and go to aerial tour.
you will see what is where.

Actually the Oasis Tulum is right around the point. The Bahia is down the beach from the Oasis but you can see it from there.

How about turning the camera to the right a touch to see down the beach like we used to be able to see? Hehehhehee

Thanks for all the replies. I have looked at the satellite photos on To Do section and figured that was South Akumal. However, I have never walked that far and it just seemed too close. Will have to go for a tour that way the next time I am down.

its a 45 plus minute walk with lots of water and good walking sandles /shoes
