We've stayed on Akumal Beach at HAC & Las Casitas, and love the location.
Also stayed at Vista Del Mar and loved the price.
But hated driving to Akumal Beach every day.
Are there any rentals along the road to Half Moon Bay that are a closer walk to Akumal Beach?
Beachfront view isn't all that important to us as long as it's a short walk.
I don't think locogringo offers anything, but I've noticed a couple of houses on the jungle side.
If you know, send me a little info or a link.
There will probably only be two of us, so we can't afford to rent multi-bedroom villas ;-)
If there were four of us, we'd likely be at Las Casitas!
Trying to keep the price down so we can stay for TWO weeks instead of one.

These closest, best priced place in proximity to Akumal Bay is Villas Maya. After that, it's Vista del Mar hotel.
